One of the opening scenes of this issue reminded me of an old episode of the 60's Spider-Man cartoon: Invisible crimelord and supervillain Noah Boddy organized Electro, the Green Goblin and the Vulture to attack Spider-Man. After narrowly defeating the first two, a winded wall-crawler was confronted by the Vulture, who beat him into submission. However, rather than delivering the killing blow, the Vulture told Spider-Man to meet him and the other villains at Noah's hideout so they could eliminate him. Spider-Man uses the hours of time at his disposal to devise a plan to defeat them, which, of course, works.
This issue reminded me of that episode because Trigon makes the same stupid move; rather than beat his opponent, he chooses to reschedule the fight, giving the heroes enough time to beat him.
Okay, rant's over. This was a very solid closing issue. Your character's voices have been consistent and the action was very well written. But, again, the dialogue seems awkward at times. One specific example was Dick and Carter having an argument and making up in the middle of a demonic invasion.
One moment, however, made me laugh, because I imagined how it would play out in my head:
Carter: That symbol negates chaos magic, which Trigon thrives on. As long as you hold onto that, nothing formed from chaos magic can harm you. Tim (thinking): Thanks, Carter. [pause] Carter: So that's it? You're not going to thank me? Tim: No, I thanked you in my head. Carter: Well I didn't just help protect you against the most powerful effing demon since Lucifer 'in my head', did I? Tim: What happened to "A hero doesn't need thanks"? Carter: What happened to common f*(&ing courtesy?!
Heh.
Overall, this mini felt like fun, blending a lot of classic and modern Teen Titans elements into one story. Unfortunately, it suffered from just not feeling fresh (Again, I have to say, "Trigon takes over Raven" has been done before enough times). Still, it was well written and very fun. Good work.

Thanks, UDC. Glad you enjoyed the ride.
I'll be the first to admit that the Trigon/Raven angle has been done, but, to me, it's always a fun place to go! This was more of a prologue than anything, and, as you may have been able to tell from the "Batman Scene" there's a lot more to come! Pay close attention to what was described on those walls! It pretty much told you what was coming (in a cryptic way) lol
thanks again for reading!

This was a really fun story with an epic battle that was a thrill ride from beginning to end. I can't wait to read more about this world, which sounds like is coming in the future.
But yeah, the exchange between Carter and Tim was probably one of the funniest things I've read on this site... ever.
Thanks for a great story!

Thanks for reading, Brian! You've been my biggest supporter on this series since it started and I greatly appreciate that!
I'm just glad the ending didn't disappoint... "big events" can be tricky, tending to let down on the "big payoff" but I gave it my all, and I'm glad it went well.
Also glad you're excited about the coming future of "Earth C" as I'm calling it lol.... There is indeed much more to tell in this world and, as soon as things straiten out on Marvel 2.0, I'll start on it right away!
Again, I can't thank everyone enough for following me to the end of this first part of the journey... there were times I slipped up (God knows that!) but you still hung with me and waited it out. When these characters lived out their story in my head, I felt I had to write it down, I'm just glad I did that story justice!
See you in the next chapter... (and also around the Batman Beyond world) lol
