Oh, this was rough. A great arc, with many an amazing character moment-- "He really didn't want to know, did he?" caught me right in the chest-- and a roster that continues to grow and impress. I'm growing to adore Pat Dugan, and his position as rock, as stalwart member of the team, is just great, because you can imagine him so clearly, a human amongst these super-powered or enhanced superheroes, and him, just being, and being so terribly great... ok, I'm rambling, it's early, but this issue impressed on so many levels, as always, and I'll be back!

wow, great ending =D I've been looking very forward to seeing what you do with Bradamante, and i'm only more curious now. All the interactions were great as usual, all the emotions clear and understandable. Gimmick's nail polish bit was both adorable and awesome, and I still love how she's interacting with Pat. and i have to say...Craft of Warworld gave me a good 30-second laugh XD

Thanks for the great comments, guys. I've always imagined Pat as this kind of pillar the team can revolve around, strong and ready to stand up for and with any of them. Greg and Pat are the heart and spine of the team in their ways, and it shows, I think. As for Hayley's line, Charlie, it got to me when I wrote it, so I'm glad it worked for others too.
Bradamante and Mikey have a calling ahead of them as the Soldiers keep an eye out for their new friends, but don't worry, the old guys are still just as important. I have an archer coming to fill in for Spider, and there's more Crimson Avenger activity coming up, as well as Dummy...ooo, man, wait until you see Dummy's plan. new and old, I've got some great plans for the Soldiers, so I hope you all stick it out and keep reading.
take care Don
