I have a question: What ratings are you looking for? G? M? XXX?
What's allowed, what isn't? Are you talking graphic sex scenes or something your Aunt Mildred would be okay with? Are you going by the comics code or something else? What about other gray areas like violence, mayhem and other nasty things?
In a canon book this month (which I haven't read), evidently there are condom wrappers shown on the floor of a bedroom while Dick Grayson and Kory (I think) are clearly post romp--is that too racy?
Does anything go with warnings or ratings? Are some things going to be tossed?
Guidelines, please.

Hey Simon.
This hasn't really been formally discussed that I can remember but the impression I've had is to go for as broad an audience as possible. Like the average comic put out by the main two comic publishers, I wouldn't imagine we'll be venturing too far from the PG-13 category of superhero stories. I think other sites like fanfiction.net may allow slash type fics or mature subject matter with each story appropriately labelled with warnings to the content, but as to this site we are trying to offer a supplemental selection of stories to the regular DC Comics readers.
Hope this helps.

As in real life, and in literate entertainment, sex and violence have a role (for better or worse). The key is not to be gratuitous or salacious, but to make it a working, necessary, element of the story. For instance, can anyone say the events of the recent Identity Crisis weren't horrendous and unfortunate, but at the same time thought provoking and maturely portrayed (despite the mile-wide gaps in the plot)? You will not be reading pornography on this site. But (hopefully!) you will be reading material that reflects our environment and culture, however brutal and shocking that may be at times (I'm thinking specifically of my first arc of Detective Comics, where some pretty hardcore stuff will go down). Those are the kinds of stories we want to tell.
