Aw, sorry man. I was looking for someone with like three or four times that much bankroll. I'll stick with my little lady. She's like a hundrednaire!

Whoa...! That Static Shock looks amazing! The robot's not bad either, but it does look... 'finished' you know. But still good job, keep posting more.

Thanks and thanks. The robot was actually an ink sketch that I scanned in, cleaned up, and graytoned in PS. So, that's why it may look a bit off.

My first post! Please, be gentle... ;D
Great work, monkey-boy. I love your shading work, good depth. I agree with making this style the "official" standard -- easy for multiple artists to replicate.
Oh man, I'm gonna have ot break out the paper and pens, I've gotta try and top you guys...

Thanks so much Susan. I'm hard at work putting a lot of stuff together behind the scenes and trying to make our debut a visually exciting one as well.
I'm with HoM, I'd love to see your work!

Gonna have to wait on my doodles, guys. I'll go though my files, but I don't think I have anything appropriate -- most of my drawings are things I'm working on for my book, so it wouldn't make sense out fo context. When I get something, I'll toss it up.
Say, how do we do that, anywho? Do we load to the site, or link from webspace?

Susan, First you need to upload your picture to a website. If you don't have your own webspace then Photobucket and Imageshack are great free sites for storing image files. Once you have your image uploaded then copy the url of its location, which will be Http://..whatever../your_file_name.jpg (or .gif or .bmp , etc.). Again, Photobucket provides all this info directly under each file and makes it super easy. Then, come back here and hit the image button on the little toolbar editor you get everytime you post (it's the one with the little picture frame). It will give you two sets of brackets that each say IMG. Paste the location of your pic between the two bracket sets and then post your reply. You should then be able to see your image.
Here's an example {img}http://www.placewhereyourphotois.com/yourusername/nameoffile.jpg{/img}
The brackets will be different but I had to change them so the html tag would show up for the example.
Hope this helps!

I guess I should make a sticky out of the last post so there will be a guide to posting pics. Puts that on the "to do" list. Here's a sketch of what the DC2 Wonder Woman will most likely look like... EDIT: A fully realized color pic to go with the sketch...

And a few non-DC pics, Frankenstein... The Bride... And few new ones, the Archer... Gargoyle Grrl... Okay, I'm done.

Cool stuff. When you say "first Photoshop" on the Golden Age cover, do you mean it was drawn in Photoshop, or you just assembled it there? What parts are digital?
I like your style. You're really finding your own "voice."

The Silver Age cover was completely hand drawn and then colored in Photoshop. It was my first experience in PS and therefore took forever and looks rather shoddy now. I was pretty anal retentive about the elements used on the cover so there's a whole story about how that logo never appeared on the checkerboard trade dress but why I used that issue number, etc. One of these days I'll recolor it but it was such a fun project to do I still like to share it.

Another non-DC. This is a concept I worked on with my cousin a few years back called GRIM. It's the whole barbarian in a post-apocalyptic world gone mad sort thing. Probably one of the more involved Photoshop pieces I've done.

Kamonki! Love it! ;D
Great Bat-cover too -- I think your coloring technique is awesome. Personally, I'm unsure about computer-coloring my stuff, but maybe I'll give it a go.
