I'm talking more about the darker one Crow, that looks like something not from Arkham, but I could be mistaken? Maybe this: And I think that Joker from that mock promo is bad. And not bad as in good. As in BAD. I mean... Compared to Nicholson...

are...you...high!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nicholoson is a great actor but the Joker done by him and Burton was awful...I hate Joker gas! I love that pic coz its not like the comics
Personally though I love comics and fantasy and stuff like this (inlcuding Transformers for a modern contrast) and if theres anything that annoys me its people who claim to be fans and write fan fics and draw their own transformers but when anyone influencial actually tries to make a film they disagree and arent happy that someone else is showing there own interpretation. Being a comic fan aswell I get annoyed at comic fans who complain about a film not being like a comic book. Got news for ya people....thats coz its not! I mean let people have their own interpretation and you can have yours. Freedom of speech, if ya dont like it make your own film.......part of that was a joke and a little exaggerated but y'know what I mean!

Oh that one! I have seen that one Charlie, and that one is very disturbing, but perfectly Joker.
Personally, I liked Jack Nicholson's Batman. Both him ad Michael Keaton were not exactly the physical interpretations of their characters of Burton did a good job of capturing the essence. I just hope Heath Ledger can pull it off. I think for Joker you need to have some of his joking and humor to balance him out, can't be too lunatic or he'll just be a serial killing with a gimmick.
Btw Legacy, the poster's not too bad. I'll just wait to check it out and see if he did it good...

Okay so here it is: As Ive said around a hundred times I have this idea for a story which I am just starting to write and it involves Vic introduction into the Titans. In it we learn how since he last spoke to the Titans he has only communicated with them a couple times and each time something has been in the way of him joining (originally they are trying to find out who put Raven in hospital i.e Deathstroke, then the Invasion begins and Vic is busy himself, then they say that Raven has slipped into a coma and that things arent going very well, roughly a year later he is contacted by Kid Flash saying Raven is better and that they have been recruiting new members whislt she was in a coma but that they couldnt get hold of him-I may write about why some other time) anyway during that period Vic has been wandering and has been perfecting the control and knowledge of his powers and has mentally reprogrammed the nanites and along with some mechanical work he has made him self more sleek and battle ready and well as shaving off his dreads so that he can run faster, hes bascially a more practical cyborg and this is his proposed look for how I would introduce him into the Titans: Remeber this story may not happen but Im currently communicating with markymark about it.

Also I would like to introduce this look for a certain character, Id think after having returned to the Titans it wouldn't be long before he decided to start afresh: < image moved below >

I don't think so Legacy! You've leapt how many years for this design? And besides, he's not ARSENAL he's Re--

Oh, I see. Im assuming the Re--is...I wont say cos clearly its meant to be a secret, however I dont recall posting the word Arsenal above. Plus its just over one year since the events of Mech D and in that hes only just started playing around with his powers and so in about a year or so hes a little better practiced (I mean hes got nothing better to do). Also dreads are not streamlined, most runners and swimmers and stuff shave their heads to take away some of the air resistance, its not really to do with weight.

Yeah...it was kinda based on it but it was more art for the sake of art, I hadnt really thought much about him. I guess it was kinda meant to be Arsenal.

In all actuality, it looks like an amalgam of Arsenal and Green Arrow from Smallville.
Red Arsenal perhaps?

It's a cool design. I like the current Arsenal costume in JLA and I hope they don't change him into the Red Arrow costume. I think that should be left to Ollie (cuz it looks better on green then red)

This is the first installment of my universe called Year of Tommorow. More micros will follow. Times change. People change. The world changes with them. But the more things change the more they stay the same. Welcome to The Year of Tomorrow: So far: Batwing, NightbirdThings began, like most things in history, in death, destruction and betrayal. The one person they thought they could trust was not as he would seem. He returned home for a time and as he was there memories of a horrible and hidden past came back to haunt him and when he returned he snapped. He flew above them and looked down with disgust at the pitiful league of justice that he had once called friends. “Do you fear me, humans?...No? Of course not. You have no reason to…because you underestimated me didn’t you.” With that he released an unexpected torrent of heat vision upon those who looked at him. Most managed to flee from his gaze except one. Aquaman was the fist to fall to the terror of the being once known as the Martian Manhunter. “You underestimated me because you never cared to ask about me! You know more about the Kryptonian that you know of me. You never wanted to ask about my family. Twice, I remember twice that any of you humans gave a damn about me. I was on your side and that’s all that bothered you. But do you honestly think I told you all you needed to know when you clearly didn’t trust me?! I’ve told you of how I was a Manhunter on Mars but did you ask what that meant. Hell, did you! Well for those of you interested I will regale you with the tale. I worked for the Eldars, much like the police for your Governments, however I was much higher in importance than even the Eldars; they merely suggested missions for me and if and how I fulfilled them were up to me. I hunted down and captured or slaughtered some of the most powerful beings on the planet, many of which went on to be imprisoned in Olympus Mons. But what I never told you…what I never even hinted at was why Olympus Mons was created, it was created to hold me. From birth I was powerful even among Martians as I was born a mutant with extraordinary powers. Do you know what the classed me as…they called me a Gli’rrf. A Gli’rrf!!! I had immense power and they used the same word to describe me as the word that they use to describe a disabled Martian…it means a freak you morons…A useless member of society! They would never underestimate me again. I became the greatest villain Mars ever saw and then when they least suspected it…I reformed. Originally it was to buy their faith and in time I did but also I loved being a hero. And when I moved to Earth I tried to fit in but none of you ever treated me the same. You are all so pitiful and pathetic. You destroy one another each day….all I'm gonna do is speed it up and save you all some time!” All this time he spoke they attacked him and he fought them off like they were insects. Soon more and more heroes came to the fray until nearly every hero was gathered except members of the Teen Titans who happened to be battling in outer space. The Martian continued his relentless attack and surprised everyone when he defended an attack from Firestorm and crushed the hero with his bare hands. “My aversion to fire left fools. Oh, I know I told you it had resurfaced but you all needed to believe you had an upper hand, didn’t you. You are all so pitiful. Come….try and kill me, and, I’ve always wanted to say this, Make my day!” They did. He murder nearly every hero on Earth save Superman, Batman, Batgirl, Oracle (who wasn’t directly involved) and the Titans. However at the end of the battle something strange happened. The Manhunter appeared to be weak and fell to his knees in great pain. As he did so the ‘X’ symbol on his chest glowed with a brilliant red light and from inside it a from emerged and the Martian Manhunter gave birth. “I pass onto you my spirit and I bless you with the gifts of blessing of Mars.” Then looking at the remaining heroes he added “It looks like the invasion you fear so much has begun.” With that the two disappeared and were never seen alive again. The Bat family[/u] After the disaster Batman simply returned to that which he did best. With Nightwing in Blud Haven and Robin still leading the Titans, Batman had pretty much been left Gotham all too himself with the occasional help of the new Batgirl Cassie Cain. However Gotham was still not smiles and kisses…the Joker was rearing his ugly head again and this time he had a plan for Batman worse than death. He had concocted a virus made up off segments of Alzheimer’s, cancers and other various degenerative diseases that was planned for the caped crusader. Unfortunately for Joker Batman got a heads up on the plan and having informed Dick and Tim of his plan he captured the Joker in a three feet thick concrete room with no obvious exit or entrance and only a small air vent. Joker was left there for three weeks and lived of condensation forming on the vents. However he was just as crazed as ever and screamed and cursed in his prison loud enough for Batman to hear. But it wasn’t the taunts that drove Bats off the edge. It was the crying. Sobs from within the prison finally drove Batman to release toxic gas into the vents. He was losing his grip and had to be stopped by Batgirl who opened the secret hatchway that was used to place the Joker in there in the first place. He was near death and so no threat but Batman was. He backhanded Cassie harshly and cussed and spat on her calling her a disgrace and a traitor. She planned to hand Joker over to Gotham but during a not so coincidental car accident he escaped. Cassie then decided it was time to hang up her cape and cowl. Bats however tried harder than ever to clear up Gotham and he was far more brutal this time. Fast forward a few years and we find that Richard Grayson has finally settled down and married Barbara Gordon (aka Batgirl/Oracle). However Dick soon found that Barbara was unable to bare children and he fell into a mid-life crisis. Dick had an affair with old team-mate Starfire who had no idea that Dick was married. She soon found out however and was furious at Dick, nearly frying him with a starbolt. She confronted Barbara and they had an argument meaning they no longer speak. This soon lead to the same outcome between both Dick and the two women. Many years down the line of doing nothing Dick decided it was time to return to the only other thing he loved: Nightwing. He asked the current Titans, consisting of many of the originals children, if he could train some of them and was promised he could. However soon after the Titans signed up with the government Dick was outraged that they would align themselves with the agenda of any government and become tools rather than heroes. He instead went back to Gotham and took up the mantle left by Bruce Wayne, now incarcerated in Arkham, and so he decided to become the dark vigilante Batwing.

The Titans weren’t there for the event that became known as the Fall, but it couldn’t have effected them more. After all there were effectively the only superheroes left on Earth. They tried hard, they really did, but sometimes trying hard just doesn’t cut it. One day the group reached a unanimous decision, they couldn’t do it anymore. They decided to all retire unless a great emergency called upon their talents. Robin however didn’t really agree with his team mates. He was their leader and thus was responsible for the last word and he knew that the team was right however he couldn’t retire. That’s not what Bruce had trained him to do. And so, as had become custom among the team, he left for Blud Haven to prove his worth and continued a career as NightBird and to this day he remains there. Starfire was one of the Titans more than happy to settle down. After the pain she had experienced with Dick Grayson she wanted to get away from the superhuman community, save for one man. Cyborg. The two had become lovers and never was there a better couple. Even when Kory found herself pregnant with Grayson’s child Vic promised they would bring the child up together. One year after the birth of their boy named simply Flamebird (in homage to an old friend), Starfire became pregnant however this time there were complications. Vic had recently received a body made entirely of nanite technology meaning his technological aspects weren’t noticeable but he still functioned entirely as a human. Because of this technology the child was growing as a cyborg hybrid. To save the child they transferred the growing foetus into the cybernetic shell made by Vic based on his old body. As the child grew the cyber-armour began to replace his flesh with metal until he was essentially a conscious robot. They named him Junior and the suit itself happened to be named Virtual Intelligence Construct STation One. He became known as Cyborg II and along with his step brother began a new team called the Titans who vowed to take up the mantle left behind by there parents. However not everyone found it so easy to pick up the pieces and carry on. Raven was one of these people. After the Teen Titans disbanded she longed for a way to feel normal again but the pain and agony and raw hatred she had absorbed as the team’s empath remained with her and she felt it hard to connect with people for fear of reading emotions again. However the lust for humanity led her to spend a night with Gar Logan, now known as Beast Man. She never really loved him but she needed him and Gar probably her too. He slowly was slipping in and out of control of his mind and thus often shifted in between states of humanoid and animalistic features. However one night is all it takes. Raven became pregnant and Gar disappeared with no knowledge of this. He instead turned into a deadly, feral beast run by pure instinct and pain. The Titans grouped together once more and imprisoned him in a containment unit that fed in a sedative gas to restrain him. When Raven finally learnt of his fall from grace she took her life and was nine months pregnant. They couldn’t save her after she slit her wrists but they did save the child…however no story, as you know by now, has a happy ending. The boy grew up greatly distraught and became a young man with too many scars and a very distorted, disturbed view of life. However he held an almost God like respect for the parents who never gave a damn about him and so he joined the new Titans team as Menagerie. He powers are an almost exact combination of his parents in that he can create shadowing projections of animals around him to enhance his body proportionately according to the form he creates. These projections can cause damage physically but also are physic attacks and can cause a person to became dangerously afraid, slip into comas or simply switch off. He tried to work with the team but never really fitted in and there were always scars on his arms from where he had been self harming or from drug abuse. However things really kicked off when he found him: His father. He found what the Titans had done to his idol and he vowed one day he would find a way to free his father from the impenetrable prison. He stayed on the team but only to gain there trust and plans began to hatch. From that day on even his powers changed and the projections were frequently covered in spikes and blades, and accompanied by horns and bat like wings…they were, like him, horrible parodies of life. However there were others not directly influenced by the events of the Fall. What about the GL Corps reformed by Kyle Rayner. Well they were infact destroyed by John Stewart when he absorbed the forces of Ion, Spectre and Parallax and imploded under the power. But there is another civilization with strong ties to the superhero community. For generations the race of warrior women known as the Amazons had produced Earth with some of its greatest heroes. But only a few years before the time of the Fall events were set in motion to change the course of current history. A thing happened that hadn’t happened in their culture for millennia. Queen Hippolyta became pregnant from one of the few men allowed to live in their Utopia, however this wasn’t the rare occurrence. No, the fact that the child she gave birth to was a son changed the course of the Amazon’s future dramatically. He was raised as an Amazonian but on his 13th birthday a special occasion was held in which every Amazonian was invited. However what would happen was unknown to many, including the likes of Princess Dianna, Trio and Cassie (the latest Wonder girl). In fact only some of the elders and the Queen herself knew of the ritual. Believing they were the superior gender the ritual dictated that the boy must be sacrificed as he was a curse upon them and to purge themselves they must drink his blood so the women’s inner power can neutralise his curse. Those with the Wonder Woman mantle had long since become accustomed to the world of men and this was a horror but against an army of Amazonian gladiators there was little they could do and so they just looked on. However since a male hadn’t been born into their society for millennia they didn’t know what to suspect. Never in another million years would they have believed that he would be more powerful than them. Infact the current Wonder Woman Trio had travelled far and wide and never seen such unimaginable strength as that possessed by the young man. He tore himself free from the altar and literally bought the house down. The temple crumbled into ruin and there was not one survivor save himself. He wandered for years until he came to the world of men. Here he sought out to be like the only woman he had ever respected and not felt afraid of, Cassandra Sandsmark the former Wonder girl, and so he found the new Team known as the Titans. He decided to rename himself in honour of the Greek pantheon he had strong ancestral links with and called himself Heracles. They named him the Wonder Man. Soon after this team was formulated they found they needed guidance and a direction so that their fate was that of their parents and thus they signed up with the U.S Government and sadly became super powered pawns of politics. The Senate then assigned the newly reborn Superboy to mentor them at his request. A new nation emerges and by the looks of things it is following in the same flawed footsteps of the last.

In keeping with the style of DC2 Nightwing I made this micro which could potentially be a design for a DC2 Red X:
