Sorry Tupper, I will ask first next time. I doubled the pencil layer on multiply which darkened it up. Did a quick flat layer, and an overlay layer for light and shadow. The web was vector lines with a chisel effect applied. Whole thing took 20 minutes. With a picture that sweet it doesn't take much to color.

I assure you, I'm totally fine with alterations, especially when they're that good. I'd actually like to see all my girls done like this, just to see how it would look. Let me know if you have the time, 'cause I wanna see it!

Alright everyone, here's the final FINAL Justice League picture. All the majors are in it. Don't complain about Hal or Kyle not being there Ramon! Oh, and since Art did such a bitchin' job on my girl, anyone can feel free to fool around with this image as they see fit. Enjoy.

Crikey! That really is awesome! Not that there's anything wrong with Adam's colouring already, but when Artteach brings it to the table, it looks... I don't know how to describe it! Awesome work guys!

I am the first to admit I still need lots of coloring practice. Art's just giving me something to strive for. I'm gonna post the rest of my realistic super-girls and Art, you NEED to bring the color skills!

Adam, why don't you try developing this style for your covers? It'd be an awesome style to present... Why not try sketching some men as well though, just so we know if you know the anatomy of 'em as well

Knowing him, he totally does....
Meh, I don't know about that idea C. I was tinkering with a male version of the pinups, but in a more realistic setting, like say Wolverine leaving a bar with only an X ring or pendant to distinguish his identity, or Bruce Wayne leaving a board meeting with some sort of bat-thing near him. For covers, it's unlikely I'll become the next John Cassady or Greg Land. But who knows? I may shock the hell out of everyone one of these times and switch up the style, as long as the cover warrants it...

Hey, did someone say "Adam, post more art?" You got it mysterious person! Up first is a Wolverine I did as a commission for a co-worker who's son is named after everyone's favorite Canuck-lehead.

And finally is another super-girl of comics, the lovely Zatanna. This image along with Spider-Woman is currently hung up in my living room. Oh and ArtTeach...you have to color both this one and Emma Frost for me!

Adam, you draw probably the sexy girls on the site! I love the pic of Zatanna, but the Supergirl one is off the chain.
You and ArtTeach should think about teaming up for a "Girls of the DC2" calendar!
The pic of Hal is great, too, but the energy spike from his ring looks a little off-kilter... Anyway to point the tip at 11 o'clock?

That Wolverine is cool. He looks kinda real, but with your style. You're drawing from your heart and not your eyes, and that's always good. I like artists who's art is based in reality but given a creative skew... Like Tony Harris and Kelley Jones... I don't like the Greg Land stuff, you know? Your art is just... Perfection.
