1) All-Star Comics is a place for the big seven to shine outside of their regular monthly titles as well as many of the characters who haven't seen the spotlight in quiet awhile. 2) It will allow new writers to come on-board and show their stuff. 3) A place for all writers who want a shot at a character, but can't get into the regular title because there is already a writer assigned. 3) Just about any 'All-Star' character in the DC universe can be used (from Aquaman to Zatanna), and the stories can take place just about anytime chronologically, although they must remain firmly grounded in established DC2 continuity. So if you have a story or character in mind but no place to post it this might be the place. Maybe you have something that isn't big enough to warrant a full-on mini-series or ongoing. Or maybe you have too much on your plate to take on another big project. Or maybe you fear that a monthly schedule may be too much to handle (I think everyone has felt that from time to time). Well, this is the place and now is the time! Right now the All-Star schedule is pretty wide open so get your pitches in early to Charles HoM before all the best seats are taken. PM with your thought, questions, and ideas. Operators are standing by!

Has anyone done anything with the Blackhawks? I have a Blackhawk year one story in mind so if you're interested let me know.

Never seen any Blackhawk stuff...may have gotten a mention in one of David (Idlewilder) Charlton's Golden Age stories, but other then that, I think it's unmined territory.

And I would love to read it. Ray's appearance in Blackest Night (Spoiler: He's gone tribal again!) has put him back on my mind lately.
