I liked both issues. The first one, the beginning was great, but I think it got weaker. Still, it was good. Irons is still alive, right? The second one, I like both agents. Clevenger and Nodell. I wanted to grade it "I really enjoyed this" but something happened and it ended with a "very solid work". My computer sucks.

I gave it a I really enjoyed this. The main story though felt a lot like a review of Black Zero. I like the U.N making a superteam and it seems logical that it would happen. In the real world whenever a disaster happens the goverment (world or otherwise) reaction is always to make a new goverment department. Good job also on leaving plot threads to bring the reader back again. The backup story is really good. Clev and Nodell have a very Tarrantino feel to them which is cool.

Charlie, you and Ramon must have little scraps of paper strewn all over your house and or a large dry erase board in the middle of the living room. This story is so involved that I really have to slow down and read it. Which is a good thing. Superman is the main focus of the book but there are so many things going on around him that he doesn't know about that will in some way sooner or later affect him. I find myself wondering, ok now what's going to happen with this and how will that come into play. This is what story telling and pacing are all about. Great job all around...

Terrific stuff here, guys! I really like the fact that Black Zero has spawned so many stories and angsts. You guys delivered the goods in spades, with both stories. ...and, ummm, there were some very interesting characters in that second story.

Well the primary story was very good, but I really enjoyed the backup!
The banter between Nodell & Clev was amazing! Toe socks! HA! And hey, you guys nailed Faraday. Curious to see where you go with Tomar Re since he'll be in the next issue of Tales of the GLC... in other words: Let me know what you plan on doing with him so I can stick a quick reference into the issue.
Keep up the great work & you'll have a reader for life!

Multiple stories in one issue, like Action Comics in that other universe used to do. We're still dealing with the events/fallout from Black Zero and hopefully we can get Superman back on track and in form again. This Luthor is vicious and I have to admit I kind of like that. But it's the second story I really enjoyed, sort of a cross between "Men in Black" and "Pulp Fiction". I loved the banter between the two agents and the matter of fact way they all go about their business. It will be interesting to see if/how these stories all tie in together. Good work.

I liked the whole thing with Superman, but I especially liked the thing with King Faraday! Boy, I hope Luthor fries...
Looking forward to the next issue.
Oh, and nice cover. Very prolific.

Just finished reading the entire Black Zero and really enjoyed the plot. It crossed and criss crossed from one character to another giving the story an epic scale that it should have. Each character made sense and their actions flowed well. As a story it was top notch.
The only thing that bothered me was some loss of character voice along the way. Luthor, Superman, and Green Lanterns should never use catch phrases one would find on "Friends". Some lines made me a picture Matthew Perry as Superman. Superman should have a little midwest rural ways of expressing himself. Luthor has a proper, controlled voice. Lanterns probably would not tranlate into human slang. It was just a few lines here and there but it just threw me out of the story.
This issue was a nice wind down from the last few. The backup story was okay. I think "Pulp Fiction" is a little to overused these days, but the toe sock was classic.

I just re-read this issue for preparation for #5. There was a lot going on in this issue and I felt a little lost at times. I did feel it started to gel at end. I agree with artteach that the characters voice were lost somewhat along the way. When it worked it worked very well though. I like how there are a lot of sub-plots going on. This sort of reminds me of when the Superman books were clicking and putting out stories every week in early 90's. Everything was connected and flowed into each other. The back-up tale was interesting. I am intrigued each time Nodell & Clev make an appearance in DC2. I will be keeping my eyes on those two!
