The hits keep coming with this arc! Although I'll admit that I pretty much had figured out who was behind a lot of this in the last issue, it did nothing to stop the excitement and the energy that this story puts out. The action scene's were right on the money and kept me on the edge of my seat.
And poor Lana! I actually felt sorry for her (something Smallville has never been able to get me to do). And of course a terrific cliff hanger that left me wanting more.
Excellent job, Dave!

Holy Shee-ite is a phrase I find myself using more and more on this site. THIS IS AMAZING. This is what DC WISHES they could deliver. Action Comics has fast become my favourite book on the site, and I don't envy whoever has to follow you... Ack!

This is a great Superman tale, with plenty of twists and turns to keep me guessing. And a villain I'd wager most of us wanted to see in all his insidious glory.
Tremendous arc, can't wait to see how it all ends up.

Talk about your stepford town! And he got to his Mom! I was expecting Pete obviously but not Mom too! Great story! I love it. I'd hate to lose you here, but if you were writing for DC I'd buy it!

In addition to telling as exciting a story as I could, I was really hoping to set up an exciting new status quo for a character that has been stuck in the same situation for almost 70 years now! Not that Supermnan needs me to attract readers...! But I really think there is a lot of story potential in this new setting and with these underused characters.

I won't announce the name yet, but let's just say, we could probably expect the Question to guest star...

Thanks, Roy! And thank you for the latest in a line of increasingly mind-blowingly awesome covers. Connor looks just insane! I consider it an honor to be associated with your work.

Dave, this storyarc is just too great. I've been reading old storyarcs, but I was hearing this arc was too good for me to put off. I had read the first of the arc a while back, and now I read the last two, and man, it's just been getting better. Everything flows so well and is too fun to read. Awesome job, keep them coming!

Another Super cool cover Roy! You have to be one of the most consistent artists on this site churning out one action packed cover after another! This issue had a lot of big pay off moments that I won't spoil here for anyone who hasn't checked it out yet. You managed to keep the story rolling along at such a pace that it was once again over before I knew it! There were some definite moments that really could have come off chessy here even for a comic book, but your skills as a writer and understanding of the characters helped you pull it off perfectly! Well done David! If your goal was to setup a new status quo I think you overachieved once again!

Thanks for the comments on the cover guys. In the credit where credit is due dept: I did have an assist from Ramon on this one. I love doing covers for these great stories all of our wonderful writers do. It gives me a chance to do stuff I wouldn't think of and challenges me to better myself. I think I have improved since I started doing stuff here and I owe it all to everyone on the site. I learn lots from everyone who submits art, cause I look at it and say wow, how can I do that? I owe it to the writers I work with, who push me to do better and different things. So thanks all around for being a swell bunch of guys and gals. (yes I just said swell, I always thought it seemed kinda natural. )

Amazing issue. A bit disappointed the DCAU version wasn't used but it is still great nonetheless.
