Just a brief annoucement, to tell you all that Action Comics #16 will be posting on Thursday, instead of Wednesday. My apologies to anyone who was really looking forward to it, but I promise you that Parker and I have worked hard to make it worth your patience! Also, featuring a stunning cover by Mischief, you won't want to miss this issue in the continuing adventures of Metropolis' finest heroes! And Superman. He's in it too.

I loved the glimpse into Clark Kent's earlier years this issue, the idea that he had to search for an identity after he discovered that the one his parents had built for him, that of "Clark Kent", was a lie, and that he was in fact a Kryptonian. This part of the story was some of the strongest stuff I've seen from [name redacted], and I'm very pleased to have him on board with me till the end of this story arc and beyond. Lovely stuff, and I enjoyed reading the interaction between J'onn and Martha. Lovely.
Roy Flinchum's "Escape to Krypton!" is fast becoming my favourite piece of writing on this site! It's so underrated and under the radar, and I think that everyone on this site has to read about Cat Grant's struggles to get her big exclusive, the Guardian's role as an enforcer of law in a section of the city we've never seen before, and Maggie Sawyer's camera shyness! Every issue makes me ask so many questions, and I'm so glad that Roy took a very thin concept I gave him and ran with it, creating a murder mystery that makes me question so many things!
And that middle bit...? Meh.

I know this issue was a little long but it didn't seem like it. It really read fast. I really like the first part and in the second story I liked the way that what happend in the past and the present flowed into one another. And Maggie!!! Wow didn't see that coming! As for the third and last story, thanks Charlie for the changes you made and thanks for suckering uh - mean giving me the opportunity to do this.

really great issue, guys. You've sold me on Guardian, that's for sure. This really is a different take then what you would expect in a main stream Superman book, but the ride has been enjoyable for me. Keep up the good work.

I've read part two and three first. Hey I love the Caesar, Guardian and Maggie Sawyer story. Too many rolling of the eyes for Caesar for my taste but I was digging his character. I know that what was planned, but this story was alot better. The whole Silver Banshee story blew me away. Honestly I never followed anything about her, but I enjoyed that tale. See what happens when a guy tries to by a girl a present...she goes all pale faced and wants to kill people. Or maybe that was her excuse for being a bit nasty. The third part of the issue, made that other... ::The 'Chief gets clubbed over the head and sliented:: This sub-par artist has just been silenced by the order of the Houses of Mysteries and Associates.

Yeah, one of my flaws as a writer, is that I over use certain phrases. Eye rolling, eyes widening, grunted, smiled, quipped, stuff like that. I'm working on it though. I think I've really grown as a writer since I first started at the site. For instance, look at Action Comics #1! See the difference! For one, PAST TENSE!

I think that section 1 is one of the strongest pieces of literature I've seen on the site, so yeah, come on people, I know it's a lot of text, but give it a go!!
