It's been a long time coming, and a hell of an effort to write.
So much of an effort that, what, three, four months have passed since the penultimate installment of my run came out?
I fully intended to write it for the month after the Mastermind Agenda ended, but like I said, it's been one hell of an effort.
And you know what didn't help?
Stepping down from active writing duties a while back.
Nope.
Been suffering from writers block since.
So yeah, it's been hard getting here.
But now the time has come for Action Comics Annual #2 to be released to the world!
I hope it's worth the wait.
For those of you that take the time to read this, thank you. For those of you that don't... Might be your loss!
So please, at long last, tell us what you think!

So we waited months for what? A great story with amazing action, solid dialog, and a thrilling conclusion!? Do you know what I have to say about that Charlie? I say FINE! It's was well worth the wait. Yeah, take that ya sod. Great job Charlie, for the size of this project, and the amount of planning you put into it; the Annual came out beautifully. There were a few little things that could have probably been phrased better, and I only saw one typo, but it was an excellent story deserving five stars.

The thing with stop starting this over three months is that it will be disjointed in places, but it's a hell of a lot less disjointed that it could have been, as I did one terrifying, fevered rewrite one night when I was feeling more inclined to get it done. But having said that, that night was like a month ago. And I only finished it in its entirety this time last week.

Well, it has been a long time coming, but as Mr. Clown said, it was worth the wait. For me the coolest moment was when the first punch was thrown in the Antartica, and the victim of the punch landed in Africa!!! That actually geeked me out like a true fanboy!
Great wrap up to the story and I really like the way Lois and John were wrapped up. Very nice, short and very sweet.
The only very tiny little issue I had (and it wasn't enough to not give it the five stars it deserved) was that occasionally a new section appears and something is happening without the mention of who it is. It's just a tad distracting because I have to go back to remind myself who we're talking about. However, like I said, it's a tiny little thing.
Great story and loved the art all the way through it. Congrats to everyone involved. Now excuse me... I have a date with Lobo.

Thanks Brian... I could go back and put a little header of who's appearing, but I don't know, maybe I'd be piling too much on an already OTT format...

I know that I might be a little biases but damn it that was something that I have been waiting to read for three months. Seeing this issue finished is like closure for me. Action Comics for the first issue that I read when I joined DC2 when I join at the begining of the year. And Action Comics is the first series that I was involved in with. It was Action Comics and Charlie that got me truly hooked into DC2. So I thank you Action Comics and Charlie for that.
The supporting cast was always the main reason for read this series. Guardian and Sawyer's relationship was always very interesting to read. Reading how John and Lois' relationship ended was a bit of a heart breaker, but a necessary one.
I loved the characterization of Caesar while he was battling the inmates. Please I loved that you broke his arm too. I know I'm sick.
Interest point when Rip Hunter was the man that defeated Kru-El and then took him away.
Loved the interaction at the end with Lex and Supes. That was completely and totally awesome moment.
But the extra part entitled Flight was beautifully written.
Five Stars.

Good grief, I have to admit, this run wasn't my finest stretch of writing, but those covers by Roy are dynamite. What a rewarding time to be creating in the DC2.
