For some reason I thought this story was going to be about the bottle city. One look at the cover should've clarified that for me.
Nevertheless it was an intense story, with Superman dealing with the rogue moon threat from last issue on the one hand, and the origin of a villain on the other hand. If this is supposed to be a DC2 interpretation of an existing Superman villain, I've no idea which one; but wether K is old or new, finding out will be half the fun.
Awesome as allways....

Well, if I wasn't already going to read this, the cover would have sucked me in anyway! This one joins a growing list of iconic Superman images on the site, all of which are framable masterpieces!
The inside doesn't disappoint, either. Again, this issue hits just the right classic Silver Age note, while managing to be contemporary and progressive (I think this is what Geoff Johns was talking about when he coined the term "neo-iconic", and I can see that Roy is a fellow devotee).
In addition to the neat SF action, this title is featuring some of Roy's strongest writing: succinct, evocative and accessible. I can't wait to see Superman face K, or to find out what else escaped from Krypton!!!!
I was really missing out by not reading this title earlier, and I heartily recommend Action Comics to all members of the DC2! More people should be reading this title (and leaving feedabck)!
Five Stars!

This issue was tightly plotted and the pacing was perfect. An intense tale from beginning to end.
So Sups took out the renegade moon, but something else from Kryptons past was there as well. Intriguing to say the least.
Honestly I wasn’t as interested in K to begin with but now I can’t wait to read what happens next. I have quickly learned to put aside anything I think I know, or think will happen and sit back and enjoy the ride. What you’ve done here Roy is draw on the best from Superman's rich history and giving it a true DC2 spin.
The cover was again another perfect compliment to the tale as well as a solid image all by itself.
5 stars.
I almost feel guilty not staying current with this title, but there is nothing better then having a stack of back issues to read as a blizzard rocks the rockies outside.
