The plot thickens! Brilliantly written, so many characters beats that just WORK (Superman wants family, the being raised in a massive forest thing, Jor-El and Zor-El being violent brothers... Heh) and that final scene... Wooo-eee, what does this mean for the next issue? Insanity, I'm sure!
Roy, you've delivered a really solid book every month since you came on board. Can't wait for more.

Bats has the anal-retentive part of the boy scout down. Supes has the sugar sweet ehtics part of the boy scout down. Strange, when you think about it.
Yes, clever origin for Kara on all fronts. And Luthor's plan backfired, that was expected. But what was unexpected was HOW it backfired........

This issue caught me completely off guard! First, we have a brilliant cover from Ramon (a guy who use to do covers around here  ). Next the surprising twist on Kara’s origin/intro into the DC2. Then Lexs plan comes to fruitation with a final scene that was the biggest twist of all. Wow! I am completely blown away with how you’ve taken this series and made it an epic read with each issue building on the previous ones. 5 stars. |
