Sonofabitch, this was terrifying. I knew you were planning a Kryptonian-horror story, but this was brutal, Roy! Your grasp of the language has improved since your first shot at writing these characters, and I had real chills going up my spine. And that nursery rhyme? Very reminiscent of Nightmare on Elm Street. Crikey. Well, you've got me hooked, and that cliffhanger... I get very antsy when people are this awesome Roy. Keep it up, sir.

A horror story indeed. Now this is an evil Kryptonian much more terrifying than Zod and friends. Shades of Jon Irenicus. Don't worry if you don't know that name. Suffice it to say you've got the mad scientist down very well.

Another gem! Dr. Xadu is very creepy (kind of a Kryptonian Dr. Mengele)--- and that rhyme was a perfect touch! The ending has got me on the edge of my seat for the next issue.
I love how you are making these such tight, punchy stories.
That cover is simple but brilliant. Gave me goosebumps.
(BTW, when I rated this issue, my intention was to give it 5 stars, but for some reason I clicked the 4 star option! Sorry, Roy! This was absolutely a 5-star issue!)
