Ok, I didn't liked this...
It was too fast, and it left me with a lot of questions. What happened to the kids? Who gave the Prankster the weapons? And why? Why didn't they let Clark watch television? It's this connected to IXE? Will any of these questions be answered soon? Or later?

I've told you what I thought about it Ramon. It was kind of... Visceral with the way things happened... It ended abruptly, yes. I don't mind, reminds me of an episode of Law and Order when theres something said and they move on...
I know that you didn't have enough time to write this, but for the time you did have, you delivered a passable tale that gives us a peak into Clark's youth but also into the underbelly of Metropolis...
But I don't know if I'm thankful for it...

This was a very fast story and left a lot for us the reader to fill in the blank, which is fine. Some stories get too mired down in the small stuff. For instance we know how supes came to find the Prankster, there's no reason to get mired down in that. I do wish that there had been more time for Clark to deal with the mental aspect of seeing a beloved childhood icon in such a state. I have a feeling there's more to this story that we'll see some time in the future. With IXE coming up it's probably not good to get too invloved with a major plot point. I hope to see more of this story after IXE has settled.

A good story, and I appreciate not having enough time to write (  ). I thought it was quite an interesting tale, although I, too wished that some of the questions had been answered. I would've liked to have seen more of Clark's reaction to seeing his old idol the way her was. The only thing that niggled at me was that I felt there was no resolution to the story. Great cover. |

This was a very interesting story, with an outstanding cover! the end did seem a tad abrupt, but like goldk said, it definately opened things up for down the road. Nice work, Ramon!

For some reason this issue just threw me off. I'm not sure how to explain but it just felt...wrong. The plot was good but the way it was executed seemed slightly rushed. I love the cover by the way, and I hope that this story could be further explored upon in a later issue because it had a lot of potential.

I suppose I should join the chorus who felt the story could have been fleshed out more but it seems it was delivered quickly (at least that's ehat everyone has been posting) so what the hey.
Some disturbing imagery for a Superman story; it would have been interesting to see the true effect the Prankster's secret life would have on Superman, especially since there are childhood memories connected to it.
I'm not a fan of the overly bumbling, doofus Clark but I guess he would need to act as differently from his Superman persona as he could. One question though; if Superman was his true favored identity and Clark the baggage why would he feel the need to be Clark at all? It's not like he can kick back and relax as Clark since he's a reporter.
I did like the backstory showing a tender connection between Clark and Ma Kent. I think most kids have special things they share with individual parents. But Clark at four years old talked to Pete at school? Is that preschool?
Overall I agree with the others that I hope we learn some more about what happened to those kids. Maybe a follow-up story somewhere down the line?
