GAAAH! I was hoping this was the final issue of the arc! But noooo, more! I'm really getting amped to discover more and more about Carter Hall, Katar Hol and Kendra, the Man-Hawks, the Feitherans, the Thangarians and all the others involved in this story!! It's getting tense down in Brazil, I swear... I'll be back next month!

That kitty needs to get neutered or something 'cause he's got some serious freakin anger issues...
Awesome story, keep it up for the finale.

Those of you in the know (or who can see my avatar) know that I'm a big fan of Hawkman (just check out the Immortal Legend of Hawkman mini to see for yourself!), and that I've been wanting to tell this particualr story for a long time now. Initially, this was conceived as a two-parter, but the story took on a life of it's own, and will be posted as a four-part serial, with the last two installments posting in two week intervals! (Oh, and they're in Mexico, not Brazil !)

Two more issues!? Sweet, I thought it was just one more issue. This is really cool to be reading about Hawkman, I've read bits and pieces about him and Hawkgirl, but really the most I know about them is from JLA and JSA.

I can't say "I knew it" regarding Hawkgirl. But I can surely say "I thought so!"
I'm afraid you're stuck with her, Katar! Hahahahahah!
Another rip roaring adventure!

I was careful to establish that these new Hawks are not the fated immortal lovers that Carter and Shiera were, and that a relationship is not necessarily written in the stars for them. Also, thanks for being the first to rate the issue!

It isn't? Didn't catch that. Thought they were, actually. But that probably has to do more with my wishful thinking than what you tried to establish.

Well, hopefully there is chemistry there... But, as the Bard said about the course of true love, it's a bumpy ride (I am, of course, paraphrasing for the colloquial modern audience) ;D.

magnificent issue. Again, the respect and admiration that Dave has for Hawkman and the legacy takes this story from good, to stupendous. I like Kendra... a lot! Katar as well. Between this adventure and what's about to happen with his team, he really hasn't gotten to see the best that Earth has to offer. My favorite moment (and there were tons) had to be the chase scene in the jungle. It reminded me very much of a Star Wars moment. Very vivid and very suspenseful. For a character that I only read half heartedly in the DCU, you have made me take a very big interest in him in DC2. But I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that Carter is alive. He just has to be! Five stars!

magnificent issue. Again, the respect and admiration that Dave has for Hawkman and the legacy takes this story from good, to stupendous. Thanks. Brian! But you know, I've always felt in good company at the DC2, in the respect and enthusiasm I have for my favorite characters. It's no leass than what Charlie feels for the Question, what Scott feels for Hal, and what Susan feels for Jonah Hex (and I could go on, obviously). It's just cool that we have the DC2 as a stage to express that excitement! Yeah, plus Katar is a bit of a jerk--- but he will get over it eventually. Ha! That is exactly what I had in mind when I wrote that scene! Glad it came across! Woo Hoo! The answer is in Part Four...! Is the DC2 really big enough for 2 Hawkman?!?
