I have to say first off that Tupper created another kick ass cover. The costume design was awesome even if Bruce doesn't want to use it again. Killer Croc! The big guy just wants to eat! I know how cranky I can get when my belly isn't full. I recall my wife having to take me down similar to what Batman did this issue when we were at a buffet once! All kidding aside this was a fun issue! Of course the tooth fairy is real? I am sure if Charlie can fit him in the T-Fairy will be making a guest appearance in the Question soon! Batman's thoughts in the end concerning his city and his Rogues was spot on. "It'll never was off. It stays with you." Nice!

This is one of the most enjoyable Batman story's I have read on this sight. Although I'm a little disturbed by the very beginning. This kept me on the edge of my seat and the battle was well done. It played in my head like a movie. A great cover and very cool design of a knew suit. We need to patten it and sell the actioin figures. ;D Great job all the way around on this one!

I really enjoyed it. Good solid storytelling. Great characterisation of Alfred.

Ms Head. Demon's Head. Al Ghul. So freakin obvious. *facepalm*
I like that Bruce is haunted by the criminal situation. Too bad Ted Kord can't get the Blue Beetle Batsuit to meet his specifications.

Big thanks to Adam Tupper for delivering one of the best visuals I've seen in a long time.

Great cover, just plain great.
Very enjoyable story. Croc as eating machine, Batman reluctantly putting him down. A cool new bat/beetle suit. As always with you, Charles, tremendous fight sequences that keep me on the edge of my seat.
I've noticed the bat-titles lately have put more emphasis on characterization and I like it. Bruce is beginning to seem like a real human being. He's worried about breaking his date with Vicki. I like Alfred showing both tough and tender love for his "son". Vicki herself seems more interesting to me and I hope we get to see more of her.
"Don't do drugs." Priceless.
And I cannot wait to see Bruce's meeting with Talia, and what (or more precisely, WHO) that may lead to in the future. Good stuff.

Five-star work, Charlie. You hit every note pitch-perfect, and even threw in a curve ball with Vicki and her niece's play -- what seemed like an innocuous throwaway line from a previous issue turned out to be a major plot point!
Tupper, that was a beautiful cover. Put me down for one of those action figures! ;D

Good work Charlie. The opening passage especially....was like something from an alien's movie!
Great cover work too.

Great job. loved the fight scene. If ever there were an anti-drug commercial killer croc is it! I too loved the fact that Vickie's neice's play became part of the story it's that kind of detail that really brings me into the story.

And if anyone notices, Brian and Chris died at the start of the issue A little death makes life that more easier I'd like to thank you all for all the feedback and compliments! With this issue I WAS going for the atmospheric horror dealio, and I think it worked out pretty well. And Susie! I felt really bad because things kept coming up and getting in the way of that plot point, but at last I got to get them to the party... Bloomin' Ninja Santas!

Finally got around to reading this, Charlie! WooHOO! I never liked Killer Croc, but you've given him a twist and a voice that's changing my mind. Your style's been maturing since earlier days on the site. Looking forward to more Batty-stuff from you.

Killer Croc ftw! Loved this issue, full of horror, action, characterisation and ingenuity. I, too, was too 'Bond' to catch-on to the Ms Head/Talia connection - cleverly done!
