I had tingles just reading it. Loved it. Shaping up to be a brilliant arc and although its semi obvious whats going on I dont want to ruin it for new DC fans but....HELL YEAH......i think (i could be wrong)

Christ Grant, this read so fast, I wanted more! Great work, I hope Vicki makes it out of this alive

I wanted more too! Does her having her hands tied up above her to "something" have anything to do with how I drew the cover? (see, we artists only think of ourselves!)
And like Charlie said it did read really quickly. I haven't been disappointed with any Wrath stories from you and this is a great continuation.

Actually yes, I changed the story a bit to fit your cover once I saw it because I thought it was rather cool! I know the story is a tad on the short side...that has more to do with time constraints than anything else. There were a couple of scenes that I decided to drop from this issue and add to the next one instead!

That first scene was creepy as all get-out. And everything after that was golden. With one drop of blood, you appear to have driven Bruce to the breaking point -- the Wrath is just what pushes him right over the edge of it. Wonderful story! More please!

I agree...the opening scene was masterfully done. Nice staccato rhythm, capturing the fear and tension so nicely. Well done. Indeed, the whole issue was well done. Yay, Alfred! I'm not altogether pleased with the whole slugfest from part one, but it was nice to see it continued here with consequences, and great to see Alfred, the conscience of the Bat, at work. One of my favorite segments of the Bat mythos, and done very well here. Take a bow. I like Bruce's drive on this story. I know we're referencing old elements of the DC2 Batman, but they're elements I dont' know because these are pretty much the only two Batman issues I've read (save for some entries in Detective on Professor Strange, and I think one or two random other stories here and there). But despite not knowing the background, you've done a nice job of establishing a believable, palpable fear over the Wrath, and that's never easy with Batman. Definitely a strong arc so far, and I do look forward to part three. As a note, I don't even care you plugged the NKVDemon. I hated him. I thought he was beyond stupid. So ifyou have to go whacking minor leaguers, at least we're looking at minor leaguers with no real unique point to make them interesting. Good work. Take care Don

What can I say that hasn't already been said. The tension and suspense were out of this world. Poor, poor, Vickie! A formidable foe in the Wraith. Everything was excellent, and I eagerly await part three.

How many villains has Batman got left as of this issue?

Just a few things aside from my echoes of the above praise: firstly, the water torture. If she's been under it for several hours, surely Vicki would find it more excruticatingly painful than simply 'annoying'? Its quick, effective and very nasty...

Also, how old is Drake in DC2 continuity at this time? Early teens? Older?
And was the 'chose wisely, or poorly' line an intentional reference to the Last Crusade, or am I just jumping the gun?
Great issue!
