Good stuff, the Return is in full swing here and I really like the DC2 Jason Todd and his apparent relationship with the DC2 Hush is an interesting twist. The return of Ra's is something I've been looking forward to. Dick has to be wondering if Ra's survived that fall alone.

Oh Yeah! This is really turning into one of the best Batman stories I've seen here in a while (and that's saying a lot). Although they seem to be a bit short, they pack a huge punch in each issue.
The connection between Jason and Hush is a brilliant move. The sort of thing that I completely eat up. The end was excellent and PLEASE let this mean what I hope it means!
5 stars!

Lots of stuff going on in the issue, and it'll all be picked up on. Ra's? Maybe. Maybe it's Ra's. Maybe it's not. Who else could it be? Uh-oh. Jason Todd and the Hush reveal was something I've been planning for months now, since I first came back on the title, and if you look back at the first Batman/Hush stuff I wrote, it's all laid out for you. Yeah. I'm a master planner, me

Oh Yeah! This is really turning into one of the best Batman stories I've seen here in a while (and that's saying a lot). Although they seem to be a bit short, they pack a huge punch in each issue. With the schedule we've put ourselves on, and the outlines of each segment we settled on, it's probably going to read better as a whole when all is said and done-- not to say that I don't want people reading it as we go, but as a succinct package, a lot of stuff will come to light that will make you stand up and take notice. Thank you for the compliment, Brian. Batman seems to be a series I can always return to and get into my stride faster than any other title. Let's hope, with our new year plans that no one but Alex and Im and Don and Jay and I know of, that we keep up the high stakes, and introduce you to a new Gotham before this year is through! The connection between Jason and Hush is a brilliant move. The sort of thing that I completely eat up. The end was excellent and PLEASE let this mean what I hope it means! --That I have a terrible sense of pacing? Maybe ;D Wait and see this Wednesday, Brian. It's a rollercoaster ride that doesn't slow down until the last Friday of the month (We've gone on a crazy schedule to allow this take to be completed by the end of November), and I should let you know-- Batman #45 is complete, and it's going to be a big one. Hee... Thanks for taking the time, Brian!

It was an alright issue. Your writing as always, is sound; but I'm not crazy about the plotting, or how busy the issue was. It seems like you are loading up too many characters, that will have to small of a payoff in the end. Don't mind the Hush and Jason connection, it's better than how Loeb wrote his origin at least. Although it is a little played out.
Also the Ra's return at the end was completely out of left field, which isn't a bad thing; but the fact that nothing has been resolved with any of the other villains on the loose makes it difficult for me to be excited about it.

It was an alright issue. Your writing as always, is sound; but I'm not crazy about the plotting, or how busy the issue was. It seems like you are loading up too many characters, that will have to small of a payoff in the end. There'll be resolution on many fronts, but the fact of the matter is-- and I don't think this is a spoiler-- Gotham City is going to be undergoing some changes in 2010. The "main" villains locked up in New Arkham, and we want to keep introducing new concepts until a certain point in the future, ala One More Day and The Gauntlet, for instance (which is a bugger, because we had this idea before that was announced), wherein something occurs that allows Two-Face, Scarecrow, Mad Hatter, Poison Ivy, all these people, to come back and wreak havoc. So, whilst there'll be some pay-off, other things will continue to play over across the new year. Don't mind the Hush and Jason connection, it's better than how Loeb wrote his origin at least. Although it is a little played out. I don't know what to say to that. It's been a blast to write, and Alex takes the history to another point in Detective Comics, this coming Wednesday. Also the Ra's return at the end was completely out of left field, which isn't a bad thing; but the fact that nothing has been resolved with any of the other villains on the loose makes it difficult for me to be excited about it. Like I've said before, stuff will be resolved, and stuff will continue. Hope it isn't disappointing for you. Anyways, thanks for the honest feedback, I always value it, and hopefully it'll allow myself, and others, to become better writers. ... douche. ;D
