Another month, another chapter of DC2 Nemesis ( cover forthcoming)! This issue owes a lot to Pat Owen, who was kind enough to also write special DC2 Nemesis Prologue starring, obviously, Aquaman, which posted last week! I was really happy to see that come out, and it was a barnstormer, and leads directly into the opening scenes of Chapter Three. Not only did we see Aquaman star in his own Prologue, but Jason Todd, aka The Dark Knight fought his way into a special as well, taking place before Batman #34 (you'll understand if you read it /shameless plug) and written by Ramon Villalobos, who bought his own imitable, visceral style to the book. A good month all around, I think! Into May, we'll more than likely see the much-delayed DC2 Nemesis Prologue: Batman come out, written by Mike Hewison, and if you're lucky, another Prologue starring... Wonder Woman, written by one Hell of a writer on-site (I'll keep their identity secret for now) and coming out either in May or June. And of course, June sees Chapter Four come out, and after the barnstorming final moments... you'll understand why we've chosen to take a month hiatus from the main mini, and instead deliver some very special one-shots to bridge the gaps between evens past and future, including DC2 Nemesis: Whatever Happened to The Ray?, Twilight of the Gods, and a strategically as-yet-unannounced special, leading straight out of said barnstorming moments. There may be more, depending on the schedule, but I can promise you this: You won't want to miss these Specials. For those of you who want an early treat, here's a cover for an upcoming issue... for what? I cannot say. Anyway, please, tell us what you thought of this latest Chapter, and until June, see you around the site!

First, I have to apologize: I meant to rate this issue 4 stars, but I was too quick and clicked the wrong radio button . Sorry, Charlie! FOUR STARS! Another rollicking ride through crossover crisis land! Lots of folks showing up in this issue, and all of them handled with the love and respect Charlie obviously feels for them--- for the most part. I'm sorry, but after all this time, I still cringe a little at the dialogue you give Wonder Woman (and I actually screamed "No!" at the monitor when you had her put her head on the Flash's shoulder and he squeezed her comfortingly--- then out of nowhere, he proclaims his love for Iris). But all is forgiven for the scene in Opal City! Awesome characterization with Dick and a downright scary as hell confrontation with that cult leader guy! The banter with Superman was perfect, but didn't kill the dramatic tension. Also, loved the House of Mystery scene. Whatever those guys and gals have got cooking is going to be serious! No cover makes me sad and disappointed. I would rather have waited a week to read this issue than to see it without a cover. And thus Four Stars (that and the Wonder Woman thing). I get the impression that this was the last of the slow wind-up issues, and that it's all going to hit the fan next monthL bring it on! Can't wait to see where this goes!

First, I have to apologize: I meant to rate this issue 4 stars, but I was too quick and clicked the wrong radio button . Sorry, Charlie! FOUR STARS! I'm sure that someone who finds this issue middling can place your vote for you, Dave, no worries Another rollicking ride through crossover crisis land! I can see where you're coming from! This was just a quiet moment before the storm, and I won't do it again But all is forgiven for the scene in Opal City! Awesome characterization with Dick and a downright scary as hell confrontation with that cult leader guy! The banter with Superman was perfect, but didn't kill the dramatic tension. I'm glad, I went over that scene so many times to make sure it worked perfectly, and I can assure you... this isn't the last we've seen of Opal City in this series. Also, loved the House of Mystery scene. Whatever those guys and gals have got cooking is going to be serious! Wait till the guests of honour arrive... No cover makes me sad and disappointed. I would rather have waited a week to read this issue than to see it without a cover. And thus Four Stars (that and the Wonder Woman thing). I can accept that, but I would rather keep the first-week schedule than delay an issue, and I'm sure the cover will be worth it when it arrives. Ramon never disappoints! I get the impression that this was the last of the slow wind-up issues, and that it's all going to hit the fan next monthL bring it on! Can't wait to see where this goes! Chapter Four is, excuse my language, balls to the wall with action. And then we take a short break to find out what happened to The Ray, and also to the Fourth World (and there's another Special, one that I can't reveal the contents of because a) I'll ruin it and b) I'll ruin Chapter Four's final moments. God, I loved writing that issue!) Things do not slow down after we come back, and hopefully it'll read as rip-roaringly as I intend for it to be! Thanks for reading Dave, and thanks for leaving some feedback! I do appreciate it.

Loved the issue, Charlie! It was a blast to be able to write the lead up to the Aquaman section of this issue but it was even cooler to see you finish off that battle with the King of the Seas completely owning that billion eyed freak(I apologize to anyone else who has a billion eyes. This is not meant to be a generalization and you probably aren't freaks lol). The Dark Knight and Zauriel interaction is interesting because its a pairing that you'd never really expect to see. Very cool. Love that cover too and I say keep that black sun ring thing going on on those covers! It adds a little something...not sure what but its good. Nice work!

Great stuff here as this event continues to build. The Aquaman stuff was terrific and perfectly written, but it was the Zauriel and Jason Todd moments that really did it for me. Well, that and the entire House of Mystery stuff. I'm glad to see you included Zee's father in that meeting. Top notch all the way.

Yeah, seriously though, Aquaman was a blast to write, and he gets a bit deeper into the story in the next few issues, right up until the finale. The Dark Knight and Zauriel interaction is interesting because its a pairing that you'd never really expect to see. Very cool. A fan-favourite pairing so far, and I hope their future partnership continues that theme. They're a blast to write, and their "friendship" has evolved from their first meeting up until the final chapter of the story that I'm writing right now. Love that cover too and I say keep that black sun ring thing going on on those covers! It adds a little something...not sure what but its good. Nice work! Yeah, Ramon is doing great stuff on the covers, as is everyone collaborating on this title. Really blessed to be surrounded with so many talented peoples. Cheers, Pat!

As they seem to be for everyone else! Glad their characterisation is coming across so well. Well, that and the entire House of Mystery stuff. I'm glad to see you included Zee's father in that meeting. Duh, one of the greatest magicians ever, he should be at every meet up people have going! Top notch all the way. Cheers, appreciate it Brian!
