Nice, I'm not the biggest fan of Hawkman, but you handled him nicely; and anything to do with Cuthulu is an epic win in my books.

Yeah, this ties into something much deeper I'm working toward on the DC2, and more groundwork for my next big project is laid here, just as it has been across the DC2 for over the past six months. Dark times are a-coming... even darker than what's going on in Wonder Woman right now!

Hello readers! Yes, as I mentioned all those months ago, this issue, retitled DC2 Nemesis Prologue: Hawkman, leads into this event! So, for those of you who missed it first time around, please tell us of what you thought of this issue!

I didn't comment on it before because the first time I read it I wasn't that impressed, to be honest, Charlie. And that's rare when it comes to your work, for me.
So I read it again. There are some strong points, but I've never gotten into the "Little Bird" phrase (reminds me to much of Ollie and Dinah), and I'm not a fan of Cuthulu style horror.
Still the characters were very strong, and kudos to that and the cover.

I didn't comment on it before because the first time I read it I wasn't that impressed, to be honest, Charlie. And that's rare when it comes to your work, for me. Yeah, not my best work. I think the idea was better than the execution, and I think I've done much better since, but I'm a fan of the story... it's just my ability to get it down that was lacking. So I read it again. There are some strong points, but I've never gotten into the "Little Bird" phrase (reminds me to much of Ollie and Dinah), and I'm not a fan of Cuthulu style horror. Not a fan of the Cthulhu vibe? Well, then this issue was never going to be for you, and I can't blame you, it was pretty heavy handed, and again, I think I've done better stuff since. Thanks for being honest though... I think I have a better handle on how to deliver this kind of story right now, and I'll keep in mind what you've said in the future! Still the characters were very strong, and kudos to that and the cover. Thank you! Davinder did some good stuff. Really like it when that guy does stuff for me. That reminds me...
