I am very impressed. This is the first time I've enjoyed the Hawks since James Robinson and Paul Smith's The Golden Age (one of my all time favorite DC stories). Keep it up!

I really not a fan of the Hawks at all but your work makes it very hard not to be interested. This was a great issue and I enjoyed it much more then I expected to. Hats off David!!!!
Peace, Brian

I wanted to start Hawkman off from the beginning, but actually imagined an epic history of all his past lives, down through the ages, including the Silent Knight and Nighthawk, but realized, like most people, I was only truly interested in the first and last ones--- however, we may get glimpses into those lives in the distant future (I know Susan has some big plans for Nighthawk and Cinnamon in WWQ). This week, though, we really get down to business: The late 1930s! Carter Hall! Shiera and Speed Saunders! And maybe one or two other surpises...

I know Susan has some big plans for Nighthawk and Cinnamon in WWQ.Well, not BIG plans, but they'll be there -- they just have to wait in line behind Jonah, is all. Until I get to them, though, I won't fret none about you spinnin' a yarn or two around them. C'mon, David, upstage the heck out of me!;D By the way, has anybody seen my jaw? It hit the floor as I was reading this and I haven't found it since...
