I liked the first part a lot. Great to see you develop Earth 2's older heroes so much. Looking forward to read the next issue with them
The JLA Academy stuff didn't really catch my attention so much. I think it was decent, but I wasn't really overwhelmed by it.
All in all this issue gets 4 stars from me.

A solid continuation. We've spent so much time developing this Earth's 2nd generation of heroes at DC3; it's good to see the original League and where they are now. Evil Shazam should prove to be a good villain. And just what did happen to Hal and Barry? (That's a formality. I know what happened to them.)
Part 2 of the Academy wasn't as good as the first (it was kind of just one fight scene), but it's cool to see the Ghost, Obsidian and Northwind in action.
Overall, great work. I'll be back next month.

And thanks for being a big part of why Earth 2 is so fun! But if you liked this issue for the older JLAers, wait'll you see the next chapter... Fair enough, buddy. I think if you check in next issue, though, you won't be disappointed. Thanks very much for reading, and for the feedback!

I am proud and happy to be contributing to the development of Earth Two (folks, watch the DC3 for some incredible stuff coming soon)--- but you ain't seen nothin' yet! You do? Don't believe the rumors: that whole story has not yet been told! Hey, I'll take what I can get! The fact of the matter is, in order to keep the YAS back-up a manageble size, I cut it in half and truncated the fight scene (I kept the Norda/Jennie-Lynn scene whole, for character development purposes); ideally, the YAS deserve their own full-length feature, for sure! Thanks very much, UDC! I appreciate you reading and the feedback!

Another solid, fun, and action packed issue. So many terrific little moments. But first, the cover made me smile. Classic pose with two characters that I don't think have ever been used that way. Very nice! Wildcat stole the first story for me with the way he convinced Commissioner Wayne that they were telling the truth. Man! You were truly channeling Ted when he let Bruce know exactly how he fought and why he knew that. I really felt like I was in the room with them. Dark Shazam???!!! Oh dear... And poor Dr. Fate. I'm hoping before this is over, he gets his moment to shine! You've piqued my interest even more with Power Girl as well, since I thought I knew her in the DC2 much better than I am now led to believe. I like that! Story one was what you do best, with the characters that you love the most. It always shows, and the reason I'm always anxious to get my hands on the next issue. Story 2. Good solid (albiet a bit short) story. I'm glad you didn't cut anything with the green and the wings, that was probably the best scene in the entire issue. I love when characters open up like that. It's the stuff I, personally, eat up. and you are right, the academy does deserve their own title, because there is a heck of a lot that can be done with them. OH! Now I'm just plain scared for Obsidian. Don't make me drive down to Florida, David! As always, you never cease to amaze or entertain. Thank you for that.

Don't piss off Obsidian!
At first, I thought that the history of DC2 had been changed to some darker dystopia, last issue, and the JSA would have to "Fix" the timeline of that universe to bring it back to it's DC3 norm. Glad to see things aren't THAT bad.
But in a way, things are worse, because Cap is posessed! AHH!
It surprises me that Bruce is against the new Batman, and thinks he can stop him.
Edit: Also, the Green Lantern/Power Girl stuff was well written. Hope Kara's ok!

Words to live by! But just how far would Todd have gone, that's the question! Oh. Good... I think. Frankly, I don't understand what you're trying to say here ! Not exactly possessed... he's imbued with the corrupted power of an evil wizard. His will is still his own, but his perspective is drastically altered, kinda like Mirror-Spock (Maybe he should grow a goatee )! Commissioner Wayne is against anything that threatens the hard-won law and order of his reclaimed Gotham City--- especially wildcard vigilantes, who he knows will spawn a new generation of Jokers and Scarecrows. Thanks, buddy! I really enjoyed writing those scenes--- irrationally, because it's a pet peeve of mine when Aquaman is referred to as Orin. His name is Arthur, damnit! My confirmation name is Joseph Anthony, but everyone still calls me David. As for Power Girl--- she's in trouble . That's all I'm going to say! Thanks for reading, Jay, and for the feedback!

When we got to Gotham last issue with all the "No vigilantes" stuff going on, I thought the established Earth 2 timeline had been disrupted, and ALL heroes were hated. Glad to see I was wrong.

Ah, I gotcha! No, disruption--- and no hatred, either. The JLA is alive and well (and beloved) on Earth Two; Bruce is just a control freak.

Another solid, fun, and action packed issue. So many terrific little moments. But first, the cover made me smile. Classic pose with two characters that I don't think have ever been used that way. Very nice! Alex gets all the credit for that--- the Crisis homage was his idea, and I must say beautifully executed! Ted Grant just has one of those personalities--- I find he usually steals whatever scene he's in. Shazam has been doing this sort of thing for millenia; it was child's play for him to take a rookie like Corrigan to school. And he may be new to the Helm, but Corrigan didn't spend decades bonded to the Spectre without learning a thing or two... I'm going to have to plead the fifth on this one . Thank you, sir! This is a story I've wanted to tell for a long time now, and I hope everyone has as much fun reading it, as I am having writing it! It felt wrong to bring Norda into the title and not give him a moment like this... And Jade seemed a perfect foil. I just have to express my awe at that magnificent picture of Northwind by Jamie Rimmer! Nice, huh? And that eerie Obie is by cover artist Alex Vasquez: originally this was going to be the Secret File pin-up, but Alex decided he wanted to do something different--- so next issue look for a special two-for-one Secret File: Obsidian and Jade! Too true, and I hope to explore that in this format for as long as the characters will allow (but Ray has already demanded a solo title of his own, so we'll see how long this will last : . You don't want to be in FL this time of year. It's gotten down to the 60s (thankfully, my pool is heated) ! (Come down any time--- and bring that bottle of Jack with you!) Thank you, Brian, for reading! I appreciate the feedback, my friend!

Another excellent issue, Dave! It was great going through the satellite action again leading to the undersea proceedings. And hey, Aquaman! I always figured his various titles and names were just sorta some Tolkien for the DCU. Hey, we're lucky he doesn't have a few more! Nice to see the most of the Aqua-crew still here on Older Earth. And the entire scene where Or.. uh, Arthur approaches the crashed satellite was well written with very visual descriptions. His reaction to final fate of the former JLA stronghold was nicely done. Next up, Wonder Woman! And you can't beat a scene with older Bruce trying to shake down his super strangers. Even funnier to have him get bent out of shape over the new Batman in an almost you kids get off my lawn attitude. But y'know, with a city. What I wouldn't give for Bruce to begrudgingly suit up again before it's all over. But the final scene with the mad wizard Shazam and Billy Batson was maybe the best. Tensions ran high as young Billy was betrayed at basic level here. And now he finds himself on a much darker path. Can't wait for the eventual battles that will come from this one! Awesome work, sir. I am impatiently waiting for the next chapter!

Another excellent issue, Dave! Thank you very much! LOL! Good point. Whenever I see him referred to as Orin, I can't shake this image of Hal or Barry calling him Arthur, and Aquaman saying, snootily: "Call me Orin" then getting slapped with a glowing green hand. I thought Aquaman always had an especially soft spot for the JLA's various HQs. Aside from the lighthouse in which he grew up, where else could he call home on the Surface World? Seeing the Satellite ruined at the bottom of the ocean would dredge up some memories! The queen of the Amazons does indeed appear in next issue! Earth Two has a new Batman, and I seriously doubt Mrs. Wayne would look kindly upon Bruce galivanting around in spandex again. (But if I were a betting man... ) They will be titanic. That is all I can say Thank you, sir! And if the rumors are true, readers can expect a very special Killerseamonkey surprise next issue (and this one is not to be missed)! Thanks for the feedback, Brandon!
