Bloody Hell, and here's me thinking that things couldn't get worse-- but that ending was simply brilliant. Well executed, and the reveal... very cool. Lots of cool developments, and the characters you've created work perfectly within this world-- Loved Bruce Wayne of Earth-2, and him looking at his costume and just thinking... No. He can't go backwards, there isn't room for a Batman in his new Gotham... and then we meet a new Batman! Loved that moment. Steel and Wildcat play against each brilliantly, and the reveal of their Wonder Woman's fate was so sad. A great instalment of a great continuing storyline, and I'll be back when next issue comes out-- whenever that is

Bloody Hell, and here's me thinking that things couldn't get worse-- but that ending was simply brilliant. Thanks, Charlie! That moment was a long time coming--- wonder how it plays out next issue ! It must be weird for Bruce seeing someone else in the cape and cowl--- because you know the only reason he isn't in it is because he thinks Batman's job is done. But is it? Does Commissioner Wayne's Gotham need a Batman? Check out the Earth-Two forums on the DC3 for the answer! And how 'bout that awesome Neo-Bats pin-up by the Father of Earth-Two, Brandon Herren! Pretty sweet, huh? I am pleased to announce we'll have another Killerseamonkey original next issue, as well! I found an interesting dynamic there with those two, I think. The earnest, gung-ho rookie and the grizzled, jaded veteran. Plays well together. Even in the comic book world, it's not always happily ever after, especially if you are a queen of a warrior race. But just as Brandon is the Father of Earth-Two, Riz is the Godfather, and I know he has a very interesting character arc in the works for the Amazons--- look for it to play out in DC3's Justice League Legacies (and Diana's story is not done in this arc, either). LOL! Alex and I hope to be on a regular monthly schedule for a while (at least until the end of the JSA/JLA crossover) so expect to see #10 in four short weeks! Thanks for reading, Charlie, and for the feedback!

FINALLY!
Good stuff here. I love E-2 (as you can guess) and I love seeing it's developments. The history of the Amazons and the re-emergence of Barry, Hal and the new Batman (whoever he may be) (I know who he is) is fun.
My one complaint is Black Shazam. I don't know, he just doesn't seem too fascinating at this point. Plus he isn't doing much beyond scheming and torturing Dr. Fate. But i'm sure that'll change.
Good next step in the story. I'll be back next month.

(I know, I suck ) (But thanks for waiting! Earth-Two is a lot of fun! And that's a testament to the hard work of folks like Riz and Brandon (not to mention their word-monkeys, you, me and Brian ). Not to say he's a one-dimensional villain (okay, he kinda is) but he is also a prime mover in this story: so far he's tricked the JSA into going to Earth-Two, he seduced Captain Marvel, he overwhelmed Dr. Fate and now he's riding the Rock of Eternity to invade Earth-One (why not take over Earth-Two--- well, that will be revealed, but perhaps it has something to do with his hitherto unrevealed co-conspirator). Hopefully by the end of the arc he will be a more interesting menace. Very glad to have you, sir! Thanks for reading and for the feedback!

Let me join in the chorus first by saying: "FINALLY!" Now on to the issue: Absolute great stuff here! The Wonder Woman/Aquaman moment was probably my favorite in an issue full of riveting scenes. Though my favorite line had to be Wildcat asking Bruce when they are going to get a key of the city from Mayor Babs. I love that guy! As for Hal... oh dear... This is issue is a continuation of what David does best. Great epic adventures that stay grounded in character, never lets the reader feel overwhelmed with its many threads, and still delivers an action and emotionally charged ride. Going on 5 years now Sir, and I still marvel at your work. (Can I say marvel? ) And a wonderful cover as well. City scenes always fascinate me because of all the detail and this one was done beautifully! 5 stars gentlemen.

Let me join in the chorus first by saying: "FINALLY!" LOL! Thanks for sticking with this title, B! As you well know, it is sentiment like that which makes all the hard work worthwhile . It's a complex dynamic between these two, isn't it? Circumstances have pitted these former comrades against each other, and throw a sinister-seeming Hal Jordan in the mix, and I wonder if sparks will fly? Ha! Mine, too. He's gradually become a favorite of mine to write... He kinda writes himself, honestly. Yeah. Wait untillll next issue . Hey, thanks, Brian! I just write the kind of stuff I'd want to read, and try to have fun with it. It is immensely gratifying that people enjoy it. Sure, you can say marvel. After all, Captain Marvel is one of my major characters! What else could that evoke? This cover idea, with the plot-points on the billboards, was all Alex's idea! I am blown away by what he comes up with, never failing to improve on my initial suggestions, and always exceeding my expectations. Thanks, buddy! Thanks for reading and I appreciate the feedback!

Yay! Another installment! ;D
Excellent fun once again! This Earth-Two idea really strikes my fancy for some reason. And it's been awesome seeing each part of it come to life and still be full of surprises. A number of great scenes that a lot of folks have already touched upon but I would be remiss not to mention the build up to that last scene and all of it's shocking reveals. I also have the fortunate position of having a few hints as to what's to come and I cannot wait to see it all play out! And I'm no master linguist or grammar enthusiast (obviously) but it's always exciting to be challenged by the writing and be presented with new and unfamiliar vocabulary such as "insouciance" or "ensorcelled".
Thanks for the mentions here and the inclusion of the Batman design in your story. Hopefully here in a little bit I'll have something else that will interest you. And let me say again what a privilege it has been to have your ear on this story and for your considering some of my ideas. Being able to have fun with these ideas and with others is one of the things I love most about this site and what keeps me coming back.
But what's this about a long-ago Crisis? And an Omegaddon? Sounds intriguing... ;D
Awesome work. You know I love this stuff so keep it coming! Back to work, word-monkey!

I forgot! *slaps forehead*
Very cool cover by Alex Vasquez! Good work, sir. The cybermech is a great design (brain in a robot, love it!) and the billboard teases were a lot of fun.

Parallax's entrance was EPIC. And The Amazons were terribly sad.
But somehow it's still the Dark Shazam that scares me most.

Parallax's entrance was EPIC. Thank you, sir! I've always found that character to be just--- wrong! Menacing and lost and disturbing.. Is this really what happens to Hal Jordan...?!? Yes, things have not turned out well for them. But the final fate of Paradise Island (a rather ironic name now, huh?) has not be seen! And remember, Diana's daughter Lyta fights with the JLA as Wonder Woman in the Earth Two title Justice League Legacies on the DC3. As well he should. He may well unravel the Multiverse. Thanks for the feedback, Jay! See you next issue!

Yay! Another installment! ;D Sorry it's taken me so long to respond to your comments, KSM--- especially as I am always thrilled your are following the storyline! This arc has been shaped by not only the general concept of Earth-Two but also by our ongoing discussions about these characters. For fans of what w are doing here, this JSA story is just the tip of the iceberg--- there is a huge story behind all of this, waiting to be told, and I am very excited to be working on it with you, Brandon. LOL! I honestly don't do it on purpose. I enjoy words, though, I enjoy interesting words, and have never subscribed to that cardinal rule of writers of not challenging the reader with quirky word choices (as long as they make sense within the context of the narrative). I know I speak for Alex as well when I say it is a pleasure having you aboard for these last few issues. Your work has really enhanced the Earth-Two flavor of the story, and continues to inspire my own enjoyment of these characters. Ha! I was going to say the same to you! From DC3's Justice League Legacies to Flash #23 to this arc, I have enjoyed dabbling in the arena of your imagination, Brandon, and look forward to doing it for a while to come ;D. Hmmm... Sounds to me like there's a lot more to that story... Like, perhaps an epic multiverse-spanning mini-series (or two!) from you and I in the near future...? (Watch the DC3 for announcements, dear readers!) Thanks for reading, Brandon, and for the feedback!
