FINALLY! It's done! Now I can get on with my life!
Seriously though, great closer. As action packed and crazy as I expected. It's interesting that the big seven (or six, as it were) of the JLA seemed to be more in the spotlight than the JSA themselves. The Flashes and Hal definately stand out amongst the crowd (although it's been so long that i've forgotten exactly when Wally joined the party). I'm still curious as to how the Humanite came to possess Parallax, but it's all good. And I have to wonder how this all ends up back at the Justice League Legacies story arc. Still, it was a lot of fun getting here and i'm looking forward to what's to come.

FINALLY! It's done! Now I can get on with my life! Ha! That's exactly how I feel, Scott! Thank you, sir. I worked very hard to wrap up this storyline, which was very important to me, as I felt that I wanted to do justice to the effort Brandon, Riz and yourself have put into making Earth-Two a fun and exciting setting. The original JLA of Earth-Two was very much the dramatic impetus of this story, and a whole lot of fun to write (and I hope Epilogue Two justified that ;D), but I hope the JSA came off okay, specifically Captain Marvel, Power Girl and Alan Scott (who I think got all the best lines in this issue). Glad you liked the old school Brave and Bold vibe! And Wally showed up last issue when the heroes gathered at JLA mountain. It happened off-stage after the "Alpha Crisis" (the battle against the Anti-Monitor hinted at in the last two issues); initially, I was going to write that scene but decided against it, as it was essentially backstory easily dispensed with in an already long issue . That's for Charlie and Riz to work out, and knowing them, it will be awesome. But I can say I am very interested in returning to the JSA of Earth-Two one of these days--- at the very least, we haven't heard the last of them! Thanks so much for the support of the title, sir! Very glad you liked it, and I appreciate the feedback.

Lots of fun stuff in there Dave. Having seen so much of the planning in the various workshops I enjoyed seeing how it all panned out.

I LOVED IT!!!!
But I figured I would. Nobody does the mega stories like you do, Sir. Just coming off of my own "event" with Don, my head was spinning with so many characters and I admire you for being able to keep so many characters and personalities in order.
This was really a love letter to DC and the history that so many of us grew up with. I hope we haven't seen the last of Earth 2 and their Justice Society.
So many outstanding moments it's hard to narrow any of it down. Though Hal's becoming the power battery is right up there in the top three, as is the wonderful epilogues for both Earths.
But when all is said and done, I'm still chuckling at the idea that the Ultra Humanite called WW a trollip. For some reason I suddenly heard the voice of Frasier Crane after that. Your UH was pitch perfect my friend.
This was an epic story, told brilliantly and with some beautiful art to enhance the story. As always I stand in awe of your storytelling abilities, my friend. BRAVO!

Seeing how there is a new issue of JSA out, I figured I'd do some due diligence and refresh myself with what had happened in the previous arc and I have to say is wow. I think I might have enjoyed this story now, reading it as a complete work than I did when it was first released.
Not to say that I didn't enjoy the series as it was being released and when I was working on the series with you Dave, but there are certain things that I really noticed and appreciated reading the work as a whole that I really hadn't initially. I loved the pace of how you introduced the various threads of the story and gave each one enough time to shine as you weaved them all together for the epic final battle on Terminus. Lesser writers (and I'm referring exclusively to myself on this) would have left one or two threads dangling or introduce something that doesn't payoff later, especially when you consider that this arc wasn't released on a consistent schedule. I don't think you wasted a single line on something that didn't have some effect on the story down the line.
The way you built the world in this story and differentiated the characters from their more well known Earth One counterparts was something I thought was done masterfully. Stories like this can be bogged down with exposition and back story and or some may need a tie in issue or backup story to explain the differences between the two worlds. I know from experience that it's not easy to determine how much is enough, and I was really impressed with how you managed to work those things into the flow of the story effortlessly and flawlessly. I think I read the first issues of the Earth Two series when they came out, so everything there was not fresh in my head, but re-reading this, I never thought once that I needed more to understand earth two or thought what was there was too much.
Finally, I'm honored by the dedication in the annual. I had a blast working with you on JSA and re-reading this brought back all of not just those great memories, but how this title helped me discover the JSA and the Golden Age. I'm a fan, always.
Looking forward to the next arch.

Holy Moley! Great to hear from you Alex! Thanks so much for the feedback. This was one of the most personally rewarding stories I've ever done on the DC2. I'm very proud of the work we did together on this arc, and am very pleased that you were able to take it in in one big gulp--- the story definitely benefits from being read all at once, rather than over the year it took me to put it out . These stories are forever! They will always be there for us to go back to and re-read, or continue. The DC2 will never die as long as we have great folks creating and appreciating them. Thanks for the feedback, buddy! Hope you enjoy what Jamie and I have planned for this year!

Epic.
Felt like I needed to cap this story off after all this time and am not sure why it took so long. Wonderful in every regard. A herculean writing effort I know I could never juggle myself. A massive effort that paid off in every regard. So very happy to see the threads weave about from world to world and still get excited about where they may go. An enjoyable read, sir. Thank you.
