Absolutely terrific characterization of Dick Grayson. He really is his own man and his own hero, but the standard by which he is judged will forever hang over his head. How do you emulate the World's Greatest Detective without imitating him? How do you shake such a strong influence when in point of fact you don't think like him much at all? Great themes to explore as Nightwing finds his way in the DC2 Universe. I'm not familiar with Grace but I'm already intrigued by her. Great job; looking forward to next issue.

Thanks much! You've hit the nail on the head with what I'm trying to do with Nightwing, as far as establishing him as a hero in his own right without ignoring his major formative influences: the circus and the Bat. You'll be seeing more of this in #4.
