A really good issue! I really like your take on Nightwing the detective, aspect. It's a very important part of his persona and one that I'm glad you give attention to.
There was, to me, something a bit off by Dick being drugged, but honestly I can't put my finger on why. It didn't stop me from enjoying the heck out of this, though!
Great job!

What if the guy was going to inject him with DEATH or something? That was a bit careless of Dick IMO.
But I love this! Great grasp of the character voices, great, thrilling ride of a story.
Can't wait for #15!

Thanks, Brian! Lol....there's that Hardy Boys influence again... Charlie...Dick had the place bugged. The phone was, he had a recorder set up, etc. Besides, the phone conversation mentioned keeping him asleep for the shipment....it didn't mention DEATH, and I don't know if Sloan would want to take the rap for a PERMANENT sleep... Anyways....thank you both for the feedback! I got this in late to Ellen and Ramon both, so they get a REALLY big thanks from me. BTW, Ramon...super cover...sorta like one of those old movie posters or something. Ellen, terrific editing! Thank's t'y'all!

I gotta say, Dick is improving constantly the longer I read this book. He's come a long way from the Boy Hostage in the terrorist case.
Yes he took a risk here, but it was an educated risk. A gamble based on planning, based in turn on his training.
He's getting it right.
I think I can guess who the contact is....

Thank you, Arcalian! I'm having a lotta fun with this whole thing, and this is my first continuing fanfic... different from others that I've done. But very, very fun. Ellen helps a LOT with the research part, and... ...isn't that an awesome cover?!?!

In a creepy effective way, yes it is indeed.

Good issue. Not totally sure why Dick felt he had to stick around in the office if he'd bugged the place anyway, but I found his continual reasons for not leaving, and Sloan's frustration at same, quite enjoyable.

Thank you, Mark. I know I say it every time I post, but..... It was fun!!! This one, too, I thought was better than #10....my first issue w/ 'Boy Hostage'. I knew more about what the characters were doing, where DC2 was on the storyline, etc, for these past few issues, too, than I did the first one. The first one I felt I had to be veeeeeeeeeeery careful not to mess up with other continuities....I had to practically rewrite the whole story before Ellen aproved of it. These past few I've had the chance to get to know and to PM the writers from other titles to find out what's going on and where everyone is...it makes a HUGE difference! So thank you, peoples....I know I bug some of you (like Ellen;)) with quetions about continuity and character issues, so thx for putting up with me!!!
