A slow but effective continuation of last issue's story. Not much more to say, it was very simple in its use of two central characters. Each performed as they needed to for their goals, but there wasn't much more to it than that. No real insight or development for either figure. However, it was solidly written, and both Dick and Anton were well-sketched out personality-wise. The bit with Kory at the beginning was nice. I liked this exchange over the previous issue: she was supportive and helpful, but it was clear who the trained detective was, and I liked that. Dick's behavior was good and methodical, and that was nice to see.
Definitely interested to see what happens with the next issue.
Take care Don

I think with every writer, you get to a point in a series where you have that middle ground, the plateau, so to speak, before you start working your way back up to the action. It's a hard thing to pull off, but it was done well here.
I really like the non bizzare love triangle that is going on here, and having Kory appear is great for continuity as well as character building.
It was very well done from start to finish. Looking forward to see where it goes from here.

Excellent showing Dick's detective work, Kory's support, and above all, the fact that villains are sometimes as nervous and uncertain about the next step as the heroes!
Of course, the 64 thousand dollar question is, where is Nocturna in all of this?

Ah, yes, that IS the question, ain't it?
Thanks for the feedback, guys! I'm enjoying focusing a bit on the characters... like, their thoughts and personalities and such. Dick, Anton, and Natty are fun characters to write. This really doesn't have so much action, etc, but more detective work and such.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
