One month in: -
Ok, I've been wanting to ask this, but I've waited like... A month (hee hee, note the title!) and I was wondering if you all could do me a favour. Answer me these three questions concerning THE QUESTION QUARTERLY #1:
1.) What was your favourite moment of the first issue?
2.) What plot points do you want to see picked up in #2?
3.) Which DC2 character do you want to see in an upcoming issue?

1) Vic saying "I'm the godamn Question, and I want some goddamn answers." That just sticks out the most of the whole story. ;D 2) No particular plot point, just keep going, man! 3) Huntress, so Vic can get some trim.

come on, any more takers? Well you and I have already discussed this recently so that's why I haven't said anything, but I think you know who I'd like to see... ...and you know Huntress doesn't put out for just anybody. I'd like to make that very clear right now. You have to be a very special person...or violent. lol

PROGRESS REPORT:
I've at last finished the first draft of TQQ2, which currently weighs in at 27 pages to the very end.
So I'm glad (reluctant) to inform you that THE QUESTION QUARTERLY #2 is a double sized bonanaza issue, choc a bloc with art and lots and lots of exposition!

Hey David, can you change the post date of Suicide Squad issue number two? I really do not feel like putting up my much shorter action paced issue against the magnum opus (not to mention fan fav) that is Charlie's 'The Question' #2? 27 pages? Are you kidding me? My whole 4 part opening arc is like 30 pages! All kidding aside, I for one will look forward to this story. I understand and recognize the passion you are putting into this title. Why not do it monthly?

Because it's really, really hard... And I do (on average) about two other monthly books that are always due, so I don't want to ruin any quality that a months solid writing does. Maybe post IXE, but then maybe I have a bigger project lined up that will shock and awe you? Or maybe not.Well, anyway, (hopefully) look forward to The Question Annual #1 also going to be arriving in... Well... All shall be revealed! Also, have a look at the letter column logo Mr Villalobos set up for me! I love this guy!

I was going to leap straight into reviewing it but if you really want your three questions answered:
1.) My favourite moments were probably his italicised monologues.
2.) The main plot point I want picked up is what was that grave about at the start of this issue?
3.) The DC2 character I want to see in an upcoming issue (although I suspect he's not yet a DC2 character) is The Creeper (another insane news guy created by Ditko).
On to the issue. Really liked the cover, and the story itself and the sheer exuberance of the storytelling. Wondering if Twain is really dead or whether the reports of his death have been greatly exaggerated.
On the nitpicky front, "an offers one" should have been "and offers one" (the paragraph containing this is also missing the closing quotation marks), "and the nods his head" should be "and then nods his head", "through his draws" should be "through his drawers", "anymore famous scientists" should be "any more famous scientists", "Twains illegal work" needs an apostrophe before the s, "but bar slowly emptys" should be "but the bar slowly empties", "A young women" should be "A young woman", "gonna’ " doesn't really need the apostrophe, "finds that the Pseudoderm still attached" should be "finds that the Pseudoderm is still attached", "You shouldv’e done just that" should be "You should've done just that", "You’re wounds" should be "Your wounds", and "Appearances can be decieveing" should have deceiving spelt correctly.
Looking forward to the next issue.

I was proud of the monologues... I got to amp up my own paranoia to really get into the character.
The grave, eh? See #2.
The Creeper, eh? See #3.

If a certain number of people reply to this post... I will post up a preview of TQQ2! But only if the number in my head is hit.

All kidding aside, I for one will look forward to this story. I understand and recognize the passion you are putting into this title. Why not do it monthly? Hehehehahahaha. Some time, Post IXE, The Question will become ongoing (monthly, bimonthly, one of those). That's a promise to you all. But that also means I won't be working on other books as much, because this beast takes up so much time to write... But then again... This was 27 damn pages. John, I'm sorry but... I haven't finished it to perfection yet. It's now on 30 pages...

Jeez, you amaze me! The writing in the first was excellent and I can't wait until #2. One of the best parts of the story is the way it is told and if it takes time to keep up that excellence, then take your time. Your 30 page story is starting to make me feel bad about me 7-8 page story I'm finishing work on.

No! This can't end! That'll mean the end of The Question for a while at the DC2... Anyways, great story! You can really get into Vic's head...which means you must be as paranoid as him! 1)I agree with Susan - "I'm the goddamn Question, and I want some goddamn answers!" Classic line. 2)Any and all plot points. As long as it'd as good as this ish, I don't care. 3)Batman, Huntress, Creeper, Richard Dragon. Oh, and Judomaster.

1) I liked it when he threw the Molotov cocktail, mentioning being glad he started smoking again. That made me laugh a bit.
2) I guess I want to see who was telling Steel Hand what he should do, though I already have a guess...
3) I think you should have Nightshade, or Huntress in an upcoming issue.
This was a good issue, but I've got a bit of a headache now that I've read it... Hopefully when the next issue hits, and all of my Questions, (For lack of a good synonym), are answered I'll understand this issue better. Good work, I hope I'll be able to read through the next one, considering how long it will be...

HAHAHAHAHAHA! The plot thickens and then reveals... Itself... Next issue! Also occuring, Bart Allen returns from the future only to be hit by a bus! Rose Wilson is shot in her good eye, and anyone else Imp likes is maimed and generally hurt! Mooha! The "Goddam" line was in fact a nod to Ramon and his love for Frank Miller, and it was his irritatingness that helped me get through the middle chunk of the issue! Peace!
