I liked it, the fight scenes were done well and you have a good voice for Catman. I don't know though, something in it seemed to be kind of lacking. I'm not sure what it was though...

It definitely feels like an intro to Catman, but now I definitely need more. I think the lacking for me is just a wanting to get more of the character, which we do have in Suicide Squad I believe. Though I would really like to see more of him in Gotham to, and how a certain night creature would respond to the situation.

Night creature? What? Do you mean the greatest hero ever? Do you mean SIXPACK!?  I think it's more that I'm used to how Gail Simone writes Catman. This take on the character is good, but I think I'm more used to him playing off of Deadshot and other members of the Secret Six... Again, it's not my intention to take away from this story, it's just that I'm not used to seeing him in a story as a solo character. |

There's a slight bobble when the "present day" sequences shift from "I" in the first part to "The Driver" in all subsequence present day parts. The story also runs together a bit.
But the combat sequences and the strong, taut sexual tension was well done. I also appreciated the references, both to classic DC staff and current DC2ers.
Yes, Crow, Catman is a regular on Squad now. I also appreciated the Batman staying neutral bit and Catman thanking him for it.

Thanks guys for all the kind feedback. I tell you...honestly I've been a wreck since yesterday when the issue got posted. I've been worrying on how the story would of been received.
I know that Catman is featured in The Squad, but I would love to revisit the character soon. But my super powers that give me the ability to write stories super slow prevents me from cranking out the stories.
So again, Jay, Mike and Crow thankks for the feedback.
I hope to water the seed that I planted here.

My advice on writing faster stories is, write more stories. The more you write, the quicker your pace goes, and the easier ideas start coming to you. I try to write a non fanfic each week, whether it's one page or seven, I try and get it done... The only downside is that it makes fanfic a bit more challenging after writing so many original characters and universes. But it is worth it once you see the final project, and your craft definitely improves after writing so much.  |

Well the ideas come but life gets in the way. I got an idea for a possible follow up...but I will talk to the appropiate people first. But I'm working on two separate stories now but no release date for them...plus Charlie would kill me...D'Oh I said too much.

Maybe Mr. Blake could make a return to the Rogues Gallery and Gotham City???
