I've been waiting anxiously for this installment, knowing that it is the first story on the writers own. I've kept my fingers crossed and held my breath. I enjoyed the first three issue's a great deal.
This one, well, this one continues in the tradition of the first three. It never misses a beat and the quality of story telling, and character development is just as rich and enjoyable.
I found myself hooked on every word that Ibis was saying in his exposition. It's a good writer who can do that!
Great job all the way around and I'm very intrigued on Mary and Fred's budding friendship. Five stars! Keep it going!

Well, you're still introducing the general Shazam mythos, and this is an excellent way to bring in his arch-nemesis. Kudos!

I must admit, there's parts of DC history I know nothing about. This explains all that Osiris etc what not with Black Adam in 52.
And Kid Marvel is enjoying his role as a hero, which is good. But I think he's playing with his secret identity a bit much. Of course this will probably lead to Mary Marvel.
Good storytelling in the classic style. Thumbs up!

This was a lot of fun and the battle with Black Adam at the beginning was fantastic!
The series continues to grow on what has come before and keeps getting better and better.
The issues just flow so nicely and end before you know it. Great writing another great Doc cover makes this a must must read!
