Uh oh, Terra's getting a taste of real heroism. Now I'm interested to see how she sorts through her feelings about it

This was a good conclusion to this tale for sure. Wrapped up neatly for the moment.
It was well-written, and well-paced, and the Squad members shown through with their personalities, those who got their moments in the sun.
I did feel it was lacking in any tension over the plot itself, but that might be intentional. I mean, for the most part, the Royal Court, and the villains assembled for the coup, were all pretty much ciphers. They meant little but to let the Squad have a fight. I didn't really care for the central story.
On the other hand, I did like the movement of the sub-plots. Terra is clearly a favored character, at least at present by the prominent role she got. I liked it a lot. She's always been a fascinating character for me, and you have a fascinating handle on her and her personality. Can't wait to see more.
I enjoyed the small tidbit with Killer Frost and "Zap Man". They make an interesting couple, and their romance sparking evil in Enchantress is also an interesting twist. I do feel that June and Mitch seem to have a very rocky, jerky story going though...the progress of June's tale seems to be less well-laid out. But just the same, it's a fascinating twist, the correlation between these pairs, and I like it.
Outside of that though, this issue helped to reinforce a rather "pointless" feeling to the storyline overall. The characters are enjoyable though, and as I mentioned, the writing is solid: characters that get their spotlight are solidly laid out, good pacing, and the dialogue this time out was well done.
Here's looking forward to the next issue.
Take care Don

An great issue, and a wonderful way to create such a strong turning point for Terra. Knowing what I know, I've been watching developments very closely, and this character is being handled with the respect that she deserves. Now, on to my favorite character... June. Yeahbutwha? An intriguing development that I didn't see coming. Very cool! This series is still going strong and I'm glad to still be around for such a fun ride!

Very interesting to read about Catman and Vegas in this story. I can't wait to see how this plays out.
My first favorite part was the Star Wars reference. You get an EXALT for that one.
The second one was Catman cutting off the Commander's head. YEAH BABE!!!
The plane ride home seemed to be filled with post-battlefield sexual energy. Frosty and Sparky...Mitch and June...maybe Vixen and Manhunter? Waller and herself...ooops that one of those deleted scene that made me vomit.
Terra feeling conflicted after making the save and being shot for it.
Another solid issue.
4 out of 5 stars.
