Another 100 MPH thrill ride! Great issue, Jay, with one terrific battle scene at Gibraltar. I have to admit, while Supergirl is still my favorite character (and Ravager a close second), Terra is growing on me. Her rousing sentiments about freedom show why she is a hero and a true Markovian "princess", as Green Lantern suggests.
Cruel of you to end on such a cliff-hanger--- but a great way to ensure I will be back next month!
Question: is next issue a conclusion of sorts, or will this series extend past the original 5 issue mini plans?
Great retro cover from Textcrime! I love the Superfriends look!

I always wanted it to be ongoing, but understandably they wouldn't approve an ongoing Elseworlds at first blush. So I wrote a six issue story arc. I was given the offical green light to make it ongoing before # 4 came out. # 7 is written and # 8 is about halfway done.
But yes, issue # 6 will be an ending "of sorts". The conclusion of the first story arc. Though there is a little surprise at the end regarding at least one element of the ongoing series.
The cover is also meant to invoke the classic George Perez group shot. And yes, TextCrimes is very stunning, isn't he?
And as always thank you for your support!

Beautiful opening monologue of Tim's, really gave a sense of his character, and Rose as a pirate... Oh wow, so cool and that final scene? "I leave you to mediocrity"? Beautiful. Also. "The Resistance began"? Loved that.

Another solid issue. The battle scene possibly went on a bit too long for my liking but great cliffhanger.
Also, as has already been pointed out but it's well worth me pointing out again, Textcrime provided a terrific cover.

Thanks, Mark. Next issue's battle is even longer, but then you already knew that.

Thanks, Mark. Next issue's battle is even longer, but then you already knew that. Can we cue some evil laughter? Anyone?

First off I must say that TextCrimes did a fantastic job on the cover! What a great group shot!
The issue itself read very well with an exciting battle scene. But what I want to point out here is the characters. The reason I honestly do not like elseworld tales in the DCU is because the gimmick is over used with the constant 'What If?' carrying the story.
What you do here is much different. You have a solid story with great characterization that drives this book. Of course you also use you own universe to keep the readers on their toes without resorting to gimmicks. You keep each character true to their roots but still allow them to breath here in a different world.
Well done. I look forward to catching up with the rest of this series.

I love this issue in the respect that you had the cliff hanger...
I really like the way you've fleshed out the characters.. I would like to see more between Ravager and Robin, but this really is good stuff. I am glad I am finally able to sit down and read them all.
**** From me.
