this really is a very enjoyable series. It's the one book here that feels like its own world, fully developed that is being deeply explored. I'm always happy to read this.

Pretty good issue. It's nice to have a break from fighting the tyranny and take a second to examine these characters and their part in the struggle. I liked it.

I have to admit that the previous 3 issues, while written in the same exhilarating style and full of the great worldbuilding I've come to expect from this title, dealt with characters and themes I found difficult to connect with or care about--- I more skimmed than read them But #11 is a great return to form. Much like #7, this is a transition issue, which speaks a lot about these characters--- and I even enjoyed reading about the ones I don't much care for: Anarky and Argent (damn my prejudice against the 90s)! I really liked the conversation between Terra and Supergirl (why isn't she Super woman, btw?); it reminded me a lot of Robert E. Howard's views of barbarism vs. civilization (as one might imagine, the creator of Conan came down on the side of barbarism being the natural and right state of humanity). Lastly, I would like to point out the Empress' mention of "... an older, much quieter group of metahumans who have wreaked havoc on us for many years..." Portentious line. ;D

I really liked the conversation between Terra and Supergirl (why isn't she Super woman, btw?) Because they're TEEN Titans. -UDC

This book offers ups and downs.. and Jay never really skips a beat.. his transitional issues are so easy and offer a bit of to read that makes you want more.
I definitely dont like Anarky though.. I don't have much affinity for the character, but I do see the need for him to play off of Robin and GL...
All in all I thought this issue was stellar.
The cover was very good too.
***** from me.

There wasn't a reply I could put for #12... so I'll put it here: I liked this issue. I am not sold on the vampires and how they fit into the whole Markovian world, but I thought the issue was solid stuff. The cover was pretty good too. For issue #12 from me ****
