I can't seem to find it. If someone could direct me there, that'd be great.

You PM editors of different sections such as ADMIN, Alex, or arcalian. You can propose your series to them by adding the title, the main plot, and how many issues you'd like to write. Remember that this is to my knowledge.

Alex is Earth A and arcalian is Elseworlds. I don't know what ADMIN does.

What were you wanting to write, OllyGolly?

ADMIN (Mark) is Earth 1 (except for Detective, which I edit, and Teen Titans which I write....slowly.)

I can't seem to find it. If someone could direct me there, that'd be great. Sorry, but I'm not sure what happened to that thread (when I get some time I'll try and reinstate it). As hush10 pointed out, if you're interested in writing here, you're probably best PM-ing the relevant editor, either myself (if you're interested in writing an Earth-One series), Alex (if you're interested in writing an Earth-A series), or arcalian (if you want to propose an Elseworlds series). If you're still not sure who to PM or which Earth is which, please PM me (or reply here) and I'll try and help. Otherwise it's best PM-ing the relevant editor with either a proposal or details of the possible characters you'd be interested in writing. Also, a writing sample would be appreciated (just a couple of pages, which does not need to be DC-related, to show us you can write; alternatively a link to some of your writing elsewhere will suffice). I hope that helps, if you need any further clarification or explanation please ask. We're relatively short of writers here at the moment, so looking forward to hearing from you.

I am also looking to write something here. I've been a member for years and am just now returning to writing. I was a writer on the Ultimate DC Forum years ago. I am speaking of the forum that Lissilambe and Eric the Red were running a few years back. I am wondering where to look to see a general overview of what is going on in the different universes here. I have a Suicide Squad story that I have been thinking of for a few years and a Superboy story that I would like to revamp. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Jay

Earth 1 suicide squad is in the back issues section. I was it's last writer. It's been a while since then, so you'd have a lot of leeway.
I don't think Earth A ever had an active Squad

I and Alex (the editor behind Earth A) have been tinkering with an Earth A Suicide Squad title for a while now, but knowing me it's probably not likely to get off the ground any time soon, so consider that position open. Message Alex if you're interested, and maybe rope me in to ping-pong ideas or something.

New Suicide Squad? Great news! Two new Suicide Squad titles, one in each universe? EVEN BETTER.

Is Arcalian still elseworlds editor? I think I read somewhere that he had stepped down. If he isn't could someone tell me who is so I can send a story idea there way.
Thanks, Steve K

Arcalian stepped down, so possibly try Admin/Mark?
If it's Elseworlds I wouldn't mind editting it, so long as I'm not stepping on anyone's toes. I scooped up Jay's position as Detective editor only to find it without a writer, so I'm still looking to try my hand at some editorial work.

Detective doesn't have a writer?

VintageViktor was the writer, but he's found he hasn't the time to commit to writing for the time being.
I was thinking about trying to push for it as more of a Batman/Gotham crime anthology, with quicker rotation of writers, or multiple writers doing multiple stories each issue. Everyone likes writing Batman, and it'd be a good proving ground for new writers (hopefully we'll attract some with the November relaunch). If someone wants to take over writing it, that's great, but we've got Inc. at the moment and Batman and Batman & Robin coming up, so it's not like we're short for dedicated Bat-titles.

LOL! I like Fantomas' idea of an anthology book though. But Detective could also be a wonderful way to write more of the secondary characters as well. DC2's version of Gotham Central. Hmmm....

I think that's something I've discussed with Don in the past... hmm... night shift and day shift... a co-writing team dream... maybe... I know I'd be interested in working with someone (BRIAN!) on it... (BRIAN!) BRIAN! WILL YOU BE THE BRUBAKER TO MY RUCKA?!

Or rather like 'Tec was before Batman became really popular.
I'd love to do a Slam Bradley story. I'll make a thread about it soon, and start sending begging messages to writers, see what we could muster for it. Might work out well as an anthology that allows for shorter stories, especially as most of the writers here seem to be busily starting on titles of their own.

Loved the day/night shift writer change over scheme, even if it was mostly just because it fit the police procedural set up.

There's something about Gotham's villains in the day time that piques my interest, so the night shift would be open...

I'm fine with it, since I was the Elseworlds editor, so it'll save me some work. Having said that I'll continue editing The Way Back if that's okay.

If Detective is turned into an anthology title, I would recommend using Adrian Chase (Vigilante II), I love the character so much! Maybe a team up (or battle) between Batman and Vigilante or a solo story. Just a thought

Maybe a team up (or battle) between Batman and Vigilante or a solo story. Just a thought Adrian Chase has quite the history at the DC2, Hush, going back to our very first month. Alas, he is dead. Which, as we all know in comic books, IS ABSOLUTELY IRREVOCABLY PERMANENT!
