Wow. Herkimer... Did not know about that one. See? This stuff is educational. Another fun fact to know and share among this clever compendium of comics creators: When Neron popped in to gritty up the DCU in the mid-90's he amped up my pal Killer Moth. Turned the guy into an actual giant moth-creature... thing. He then renamed himself CHARAXES (because it sounds badass and has an X in it... Which at the time was probably a very Jim Lee/Marvel-ous thing to do. The kicker is, a Charaxes isn't a moth at all. It's a very pretty butterfly. But again, it was the 90's & there was an X, so it was cool. It was never revealed whether or not Drury Walker, aka Charaxes, aka the moron formerly known as Killer Moth was ever aware of the misnomer. And we're on U..? I'll hop back over to Marvel with Uatu. I'm going waaaay into the past and skipping the big two to reply with.... Underdog!!!

I've taken the plunge and bought the first two volumes of Demon Knights. And volume 1 of Swamp Thing. YES! Love me some Demon Knight! And Snyder's Swamp Thing was pretty right-on too. I doubt this needs to be said, but I will anyway: If you're a comic book fan who buys books on the regular and Saga is not on your pull list, FIX THAT. It is outstanding and lovely and funny and true and just plain fantastic. If anything, just buy the first trade, or hell, the first issue, and see what you think. -UDC That is really weird because that was the final book in my Amazon package. LOL! You must be a mind reader!

Part 2 - Surprise! That is awesome as well and rather interesting that it appears since my new Barbara Gordon and Team book will harken back to that very monumental moment in DC2 history.

A few months ago, Jonathan approached me with this joint project. This is supposed to be a gift to Brian, I think for his birthday. Among the names attached to this project is the late Dave Simon and a host of our friends here at the boards. I guess we'll never how it would have turned out now that Jonos gone to pull this thing together. Here's my 3 pages: WOW! Just WOW!!!!

Not at all. Though you know there's a opportunity for a wonderful cross-over between the two batwomen.

Oh, it's Babs? I may have introduced a new Batwoman in the Kane Kane red in the last Inc. issue. A Gotham-based Batwoman. Figured the red and yellow costumes would be a good way of telling them apart. Ok. Do you think I should have Barbara go back to being Batgirl then? I really don't want to step on any toes here. I have no problem retro-ing Barbara's transformation to Batwoman at all!

Not buying from either DC or Marvel at the moment. I am considering picking up Snyder's Batman stuff in trade but that's a while down the road. I don't like DC at all anymore and Marvel is okay but nothing interest me. So I'm doing Vertigo, Dynamite titles, the other guys. My favorite series that I just finished was The Boys.

Sorry it took me so long to get to this, but New Outsiders is a book I can't stay away from for any amount of time. I've been so wrapped up in trying to get my real life in order and trying to find a way to get my DC2 titles back to some discernible place, that I've neglected everything else! This issue was great. Movement in every direction, setting up the next stage of evolution for the team, and basically, I'm glad you're back, Brian! Everyone is really busy on site, and it can seem that no one is around to read what we're doing, but we'll always be here to read what we want when we find the time. The development with Batwoman was a punch in the gut, I was wondering how you were going to follow it up, and follow it up you did-- with style! I'm so pleased to see all these strands come together, really happy to see Zee back playing a role after being sidelined for a while. It looks like we're getting everything back to the way it should be! Keep up the good work, and I'll be back next issue! Charlie I'm glad you had a chance to read this and that you enjoyed it. Like many others around here it's getting harder and harder to find time to write but I'm determined to try my hardest. Zee is back and her part will continue to grow. I do hope you read the next issue that has just been completed.

I'm out too and I'm really sorry. I am hoping to get to the Mid-Ohio Con next month but that's about it.
Mark has my phone number and if you all meet up feel free to give me a ring or if someone has their computer with them we could Skype!
(I wish there was a way that we could all do a community Skype. That would be fun)

Everything I thought it would be and more. Mark has quite a unique style that harkens somewhat to Douglas Adams. He and Riz have started something that borders on brilliance here. Beautiful cover as well. Can't wait for the next issue.
