Thanks for pointing that out. I've fixed those few occasions (and am suddenly extremely grateful that I'm not the editor on Nightwing).

LOL! It seems to be a posting issue. I've already let LL know about it. (And fixed it in NW)

This story seemed very uneven to me. After the last few, it was quite a let down.

A slower paced issue for sure, but still good nonetheless. The calm before the storm...More intrigue begins as another seems to be wrapping up. Seems like the NO are going more heavily into magic territory, be cool to see how Ollie handles that. He seems like someone who might have a problem with all the mystical hocus pocus. Loved the Batman and Barbara's exchange. I thought the dialouge and motivations were spot on! OK, now on to Nightwing!

Sorry this wasn't to your liking, TL. Between last issue and what is going to happen next issue with Huntress and Vigilante, I decided to go with something a little quieter. I admit that much of this issue is set up for what will be coming down the road. But check back next month and I promise you some character driven shockers that might make your toes curl!
Thanks goldk! The Babs and Batman stuff was fun to do. And yes, somewhere down the road, the magic is coming. Of course the group has to get through a certain upcoming "event", first. Also want to say thank you for an AWESOME cover!!!
Oh! and your gift has been framed and is hanging on my wall next to my lap top. Thank you for that from the bottom of my heart!

First we had a Arrow/Canary issue, now a Batgirl/Zatanna one, and next month Huntress/Vigilante? These types of issues are good for character development, even if they are "set-up" issues for something larger coming down the road. With a team of this size, sometimes it's good to break it down into smaller groups so we can get a feel for your particular take on the characters.
I like the portrayal of Batgirl as somewhat vulnerable and unsure of how good ("worthy"?) she is to wear the symbol of the bat. A vote of confidence from Batman himself will go a long way.
And there seems to be some mysterious plans in store for Zatanna: any Phantom Stranger cameo is all right by me. Another solid entry in this engaging title.

Thanks batarang! Glad you enjoyed. Phantom Stranger is one of my favorites as well. You'll be seeing more of him, I'm sure. As for Barbara, I thought it seemed logical for her to be in the place that she is right now, after the events that transpired between her, Dick, and the Joker. Trust me though, Babs will eventually come into her own. And if you want to see more of Barbara (and the rest of the gang), make sure you check out Nightwing #5!

Another simply stellar issue! Each time I finish an issue, I think the same thing: "the book can't get any better than this". Then, the enxt month, you prove me wrong...I'm sure that you'll continue to do so for a very, very long time.

Thank you, Apprentice, those are very kind words. I got very lucky to be given the chance to write such wonderfully dysfunctional characters. Hope you come back next time for a story that I almost guarantee will knock your socks off. ;D

Another steller issue once again. The character development was superb and the bits and pieces that are dropped everywhere for the future are very annoying in a good way of course. I just can't wait for the future! It's like season finales of shows, only it happens every issue. It will be awesome to see what this is all counting up to! Can't wait for Huntress/Vigilante! Keep up the awesome work!

Good story, with only one complaint: you gave away Dennis's double life right on the cover! Other than that, top-notch as always.

Well, glad you enjoyed it Susan. My decision to put the balloon on teh cover was to hopefully draw people in by wondering how this villain knew Barbara in the first place. Never occured to me that it would reveal everything. Still, it is one great cover!

Sorry Brian I didnt comment when I read this right away. Another great issue to throw in the pile. I really like that you dont get over the top with all that you are allowed to do in a mature readers title.
