Spoilers Below!: Hahahahahaha! Brian wrote porn! (Dave, this is ten times your naked Dinah scene  ) Effective porn, mind you, that served the story, that established that Huntress really IS what we thought she was (a person aroused by violence) and wow... Adrian Chase is seriously my favourite character on this site. He's got a mission and that's all there is for him... But the guilt after the deed was done was in character for him, even though we've only known his DC2 incarnation for... Nine months now... You're tying with Ramon for Best Issue Of The Week! |

Oh, so that's why this title needs a password.
Spotlight on the two most violent (psycho?) members of the team. Vigilante crosses the line (again). The fallout from this will be interesting to watch as Vigilante's status on this team will no doubt be in question. Because Adrian isn't finished with his vengeance, not by a long shot.
Dark and gritty (even the sex) this was a different type of issue as there was lacking this title's trademark humor. But with these two characters it makes sense since they are mostly humorless anyway and there are no other members of the team around to play the foil.
Once again, another terrific issue from this terrific writer and title.

I wish I could write as well as you. Honestly, you are an amazing, amazing writer, and I'm not quite sure why you aren't doing this professionally. This entire issue was...intense. It managed to maintain a dark, almsot murderous tone all the way through, even in the sex scene (which was strangely, yet brilliantly, done). Adrian's guilt at giving into his passion for Helena was well portrayed, as was Helena's resistance to give into temptation. The entire story seemed to build up to that scene in Adrian's apartment; there was an underlying tension up until that paragraph, when they both gave into temptation. Great story, even with the porn! |

Thanks everyone for the great feedback. I did enjoy writing this one. Although I knew when I mapped this out that Chase would have issue's of his moment with Helena, I have to give credit where credit is due. It was Charlie that came up with the idea of him at the window. So thank you sir! Batarang: Helena's humorless? Well, maybe it wasn't there in this issue, but there's some humor in her, just a little darker then others. ;D Thanks again, everyone! And yes, the ramifications are going to be felt for a long time to come, especially for Helena and Adrian. There story is just beginning. Of course first they've got to get through a certain Crisis that's "On the Horizon..." (see how I plugged the title for my next issue ) Also, thanks to goldk for a truly outstanding cover! And as always, I have to thank my Editor for all his hard work to make me look good. |

Damn fine issue, porn and all. This was surprising all-around, from the possibility that Chase has been gunning for the wrong mob all this time, to our two heroes having a roll in the hay  , and ending with Vigilante crossing the line...but considering everything, can you blame him? |

SUSAN!!! I'm so glad you read it! I was afraid we had lost a reader (and since I'm not sure how many we have, I was worried). Very glad you enjoyed the twists and turns (and I'm not just talking about the porn). You do bring up a great question, though: Can we blame him for doing what he has done? Can the rest of the team? Will the team even find out? Hmmm...?
