These 18 characters made their debut in 1940. Can you list the names of all 18. ( And no cheating, so no online searches. you gotta use your own DC knowledge. )

A black character in the 1940's? That's weird. Not quite. Remember, color back then was before the computer coloring we have now. He's got a turban on so that would probably make him an Egyptian character of some sort (and the mummy case in the background is a good hint too). And I'm not guessing 'cause I don't know.

haha well done Don. I thought that Alexei Luthor was Guy Gardner, Oom the Mighty looked like Blockbuster to me and the first Clayface I had no idea. But the others I knew. I'm not that bad, huh?

These 7 characters and one team made their debut in 1941. Who are they? ( ok this one is almost too easy but 1941 was a good year for new characters in my eyes. )

Okay let's see... The Blackhawks Aquaman Miss America(? I have no idea, I knew it once, a long time ago. But I forgot it) Dr Mid-Nite and Hootie(? I think that was his name. Archie was the new one, right?) The Penguin Green Arrow and an Eagle?

K Riz is the closest, and the only one to guess Hootie as the seventh character. And yes it is Miss America. and the Eagle is a Hawk. A red tailed hawk to be exact by the name of Big Red. So am I the only one who remembers Big Red, Hawkmans trustful sidekick from the All Flash Comics.

These 11 characters and 1 team debuted in 1942. ( ya see a trend here. lol) This one is pretty easy except for maybe two of them, which even I was stumped by. So good luck.

Okay, welll, if I've been called out, then I'll give it a go. And for the record, on the previous one, the hawk escaped me too. I thought he looked familiar (as Hawks go, I mean...I recognized the art and the portion of the panel), but couldn't place him. Stupid bird. For the new one: The Gay Ghost LIberty Belle/Libby Lawrence Wildcat/Ted Grant Mister Terrific/Terry Sloane Air Wave I (real name escapes me at the moment) Dan the Dyna-Mite/Daniel Dunbar The Boy Commandos! Manhunter 1-a/Paul Kirk (I mention 1-a because the other Manhunter was out so close to this guy, the one from Quality, whose name escapes me at the moment) Starman I/Ted Knight Two-Face/Harvey Dent (possibly Kent in his first appearance, I forget) Wonder Woman/Princess Diana honestly not sure on this last one, but I'm going out on a limb and say Di's mom, Queen Hippolyta (it might also be...whathername...Mala, I think or something...but Golden Age Wonder Woman is a weak area for me) Take care Don

What? I didn't create him. That was his original title. He was switched to the Grim Ghost (I believe) in the Seventies sometime, because of the change in connotation for "gay" but..that's who he was, nearly seven decades ago.
Take care Don

These 5 debuted in 1948. Which seemed to be the year that DC started to focus on the old west.
