This morning at work I had an exhange of words with one of my supervisors and was told they would call me if they wanted me to come back. This couldn't have come at a worse time, the economy being the way it is. So if anybody knows of an online job, would be a good time to mention it.  |

That really sucks, Jay!  Very sorry to hear it.  I'm sure you're going to do the usual things (post your resume on Monster and other job-search sites, check the classifieds, etc), but have you thought about talking to a recruiter? For instance, I know that places like Enterprise Rent-A-Car seem to be always looking for new management associates (they start at about $35K, but that may vary by region). Good luck, buddy. |

Well my roomie just got home from work--he's the Ebay customer service guy for the company--and he tells me he overheard the bosses talking and apparently in January the mail department was gonna be outsourced *anyway*, so my little spat with the supervisor gave them the excuse not to have to pay me for the final 2 months and change.
