Won't be any rings in Mexico. Apparently, Green Lanterns can only be from the USA. Crap.

Well, GL Corps isn't on my pull list, but the comic shop guys would tell me about someting like this. Alas, NO! Apparently, not in Canada either.

My kids are running around the house yelling the Lantern Oath. I'm sitting disappointed that they didn't make the rings man sized. I can barely get it on the pinky. Man who do they think reads these comics? The issue is a nice set/reset of the GL world. They also have the word Poozer, which is always the sign of a good book. Anyone else remember the JLI issue that was just Guy and Kiliwog beating on each other for the whole issue just for the fun of it.

I have years of powerlifting and martial arts fingers. My knuckels are not what one would call delicate.

Well... I thought the comic was damn awesome! And I got me a GL ring which I gave to my wife who then looked at me like I was retarded. Where's the love???
GL rings are to be cherished! Not eyes rolled at! It now adorns the skeleton that sits on my rearview mirror in my Mustang. At least he appreciates it!

I agree that the book was great! I didn't get a ring, though.

Your wish is my command. I'm a natural powerlifter, so I don't have the roid boy look. I know there is a god because this guy, got that girl. ;D

So, how 'bout them Green Lantern books?

Post by artteach on Jun 19, 2006 22:50:55 GMT -5
Guy is the one true GL! The rest are just pretenders. Poozers all of them.

KILOWOG is the one true... Actually, I can think of about 7,199 other Green Lantern's that would fight us all on those statements.

Post by artteach on Jun 19, 2006 23:37:21 GMT -5
Okay KILOWOG is Picard and Guy is Kirk. Kyle is Archer, Alan Scott is Janeway, and Hal is Sisko. All Captians but only Kirk is the best.
If you a fight and you could only bring one GL, who would you bring? Guy

See, I also loved Sisko, especially when he got the beard-- So Hal forever! But through JSA, Alan Scott has grown on me to be a very cool character. And again, Kyle is his own character, and I don't think you can compare him to the others because of the uniqueness of how they went with him (I know you will ) so all in all... To each their own and to their own each. And artteach-- ARRRRGHHH! DON'T HURT ME!

I (shudders) agree with Charlie. Sisko was one groovy cat mofo (after the beard, before the beard he looked like a pansy ass). So Hal/Sisko all the way!
And in a fight, I'd take Hal with me... he always finds a way to win, but without playing dirty. Yeah, he might get banged up a bit, but at the end of the day his integrity & morals find a way to shine through!

On a side note, I had a hard time finding a current picture of myself without the wife or kids. Dads will all understand that you are always behind the camera. You don't take pictures of yourself. Now for the wife, she always turns away from the camera and then complains that half of the pictures are of her backside.

All of the Captians are good, but Kirk is the man!
Khan! Khan!
Khan vs. Zod would be a movie.

Yeah... somehow I think Zod might win... Unless, of course, Kirk were to warp speed it to a solar system with a red sun. The he'd just photon torpedo Zod's ass!
God, I'm a geek...
