I am really going to miss Wally The Flash has been one of my favorite comics since I started reading comics and now it's over for him. I've just been sitting here listening to Kansas since I read IC #4. Best issue of the year, it was that powerful.

POSSIBLE SPOILER!!! I WARNED YOU!
Just got done reading it! Whoa. Great battle scene and sad to see some more leave. Really bad day for a couple of Titans. The fight scene was the worth the price of admission, but for me, the scene between Batman and Nightwing was priceless. Talk about a lump in my throat. And as for those last couple of panels....well...I'm sure KSM is smiling just as much as I was. ;D

I read it and the thing that keeps haunting me is . . . where does SBprime get off! I'm Superboy! Uh...no he's not......he came along much later . . . I always thought he was just a way to bring Earth Prime into the crisis.

dude, brian, you KNOW that it wont last. it wont, it can't! I thought those last panels were just creepy. just because the planet is back, doenst meant the people are. look how ga superman smiles, if only he knew the lives his happiness caused... i for one hope he is killed.

You may be right, it might not last, but it was great to see! And there are people on it. The entire JSA disappeared! But I don't want Supes to die just because he is being mislead. He just needs to wake up and smell the coffee.

#4 really showed how powerful and truly unstable Superboy-Prime really was...was he sucked into the Speed Force or whatever with Wally and the others at the end? I really didn't get that part... I must say, this issue felt very final. There's still 3 more issues to go, yet I feel like we're already at the end. What more can they possibly throw at us?

I agree that this was definitely the climactic issue of the series, but there's is still quite a bit left. 1. What happens to Earth-2? 2. What happened to the Flashes and SB-P(we know Superboy is coming back)? 3. What will happen to Alexander and what will he try to do now? There's plenty of plot left to fill out.

Earth 2 is back baby! Wooo! The one, the only, the original comic book universe.
And I don't think it is going away. Some Earth-2ers may stay on E-1 at the end but my money's on E-2 sticking around. It just makes sense. Hawkgirl getting her own title (guess Carter's going over to E-2), the history rewrite in the back of 52, it being said that there will be a lot less heroes around post-IC, etc.
Sure was nice to see Barry again. Not like he hasn't popped up consistently over the years but this is a non-flashback, non-time travel loophole Barry. It just makes a difference for some reason. Too bad he didn't just hop on out of the Speed Force and take up flashing again full time (wait, did that sound right?). And of course that's not the end of Wally and family. I guess the Speed Force mystery is one we'll see more of in the future.
I just hate to see the widespread slaughter of characters in these things though. Everytime I see someone get it, even if it is someone like Airwave, I think "awww, but he had so much potential." Ha.

no no no no! its back for a limited time only, while supplies last. Every indication points to it being done away AFTER IC. well not EVERY one but check this, if it is back for good and every thing is all hunky dory, why in the next issues are A. supes e2 and supes e1 fighting, B. the worlds colliding, and C. The presence of e2 characters in post IC DCU?

Oh, you know they are going to fight for some reason or another. It's unavoidable at this point. And are they colliding or is that the rest of the Multiverse exploding out of them? Or maybe just visualized representation of the literal splitting of the two worlds? If they bring back E2 they certainly are going to turn right around and squish the two Earths right back together. Who says all of the E2 guys will stay there? They could travel back and forth before you know. Black Canary from the satellite era JLA was one such example. Heck, there could even be a little Stargate-type portal right there in the JLA headquarters for easy travelling. I'm voting on E2 sticking around. It's the way things are supposed to be. You'll see.

I like the way KSM if thinking! I do have to wonder if all the Earth 2 villains also disappeared when the hero's did? Is the Injustice Society now back on Earth 2, for example? Also, my prediction on who the new Batwoman is going to be is: the Titan's Flamebird. In fact, two years ago there was a story arc that went into the Titan's future and she was the new Batwoman. So my guess is that it's going to come true.

" If they bring back E2 they certainly are going to turn right around and squish the two Earths right back together" yeah that is what i JUST said. "aren't" Typo. You know what I meant. If you are going to start debating syntax then I'm going to assume you don't have any other valid points to make? And, uh, Earth 2 is in fact back for good. Wake up and smell the Crisis, Villalobos.

Now I wonder if they're ever going to explain what happened to the Earth-1 Superman. Is he in limbo, retconned to non-existance or tied up and locked away in John Byrne's closet?
WILL WE EVER KNOW?

you know if John Byrne could keep Superman locked in a closet, he would brag about it and shave his head bald and laugh at all the other superman creators because they couldnt do it themselves. and i would respect him even more for it.

Doc: Too true. The current Supes is technically a different guy but TPTB are pretending the E1 Superman was just sorta "changed" post-Crisis. I've always considered Alan Moore's "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow" to be the final Earth 1 Superman story. And the new guy to be Earth-1 Superman 2.0. See, perfectly simple in a slightly complicated way. ;D

Is "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tommorow" in the new Alan Moore collection? I'm thinking I really need to pick it up.

Doubt it... I think he's 'Barry dead'. Only to be seen in flashbacks & alternate universe stories.
