I think the trades are a waste of money as they will not include the one issue tie-in specials with Infinite Crisis. The only reason I see to get them is if you missed the issues the first time around.

Issue #2: what do you think?
I was kind of disappointed with the inking jobs. Some parts were great, others pretty terrible.
I found the Superman-2 dialog was too long, but then again, I knew most of what he was talking about before the issue came out.
But what do you think his last comment means???

Well I'll keep this comment vague as well. I thought his last comment was kind of chilling to be honest. Lot that I liked about it and a some that I didn't care for. Batman was always my favorite so I was sad to see him go and the way he went...whoa! oops, that wasn't very vague was it......  |

what i wanna know is, what the heck is so important about the blue beetle scarab??? i mean, i didnt read the countdown series (cant remember the name even) but why is booster gold in a hurry for it?

That remains to be seen. The poweres of the scarab were never revealed to Ted Kord. Ted mostly used his technology, brain and physical training to meet out justice. The Blue Beetle before him, I think, had superhuman strength and partial invulnerability (which was granted to him by the scarab). Booster might know how to activate it, or whom to give it to. But we'll have to see for sure. |

I want to say that it's because, in the future, he found out that the new Scarab-wielder is going to be a really hot chick, and he wants to score, but I think Booster's beyond all that now.
