But dude, there weren't any major continuity problems before the perpetual rebooting and revamping of the Post-Crisis Earth. If they go back to that system everything should okay again. Right?
I don't care as long as Wonder Woman winds up a founding member of the JLA again. Of all the continuity quirks, like a half dozen Legion reboots and the Hawkman craziness and Power Girl and so on, the fact that they retconned Wonder Woman out of all those early JLA's really bothered me the most. It. Just. Wasn't. Right! ;D

A man in the back of the room, with a tee-shirt on that reads:[glow=red,2,300][shadow=red,left,300] GOD created the post-crisis universe [/shadow][/glow]raises his hand and asks the question: " What's a Multiverse?" Right after, the funky retro porn music kicks in as the man at the podium pulls out a gun, kicks the podium in, and fires his gun.............. Hey, wasn't that from "Chasing Kara"? (or something like that)

Yeah? and? so? what? who honestly cares if WW wasnt there in the start? she made it on the team, it was her first day on earth post crisis, give her a break. before that we had tons of otherworldy craziness that had to be stopped, how else were they gonna market their big names in a bold and exciting new ways, it was time for a change and it turned out for the best. now this new thing with bringing the old universe back... wel... thats just plain silly.

God forgive him for he knows not what he says.
No one's going to put down George Perez's amazing vison for the title and it was certainly a breath of fresh air, but rewriting Black Canary into her place in previous continuity was silly and pointless. Why not retrofit her reboot like they did with every other character? It would be sorta like, um, what Byrne did with Doom Patrol. Just not a good idea.
Restore the universe Fox and Broome built I say, it was more fun.

Instead of saying Black Canary was Wonder Woman, all they had to say was that those stories happened on Earth-12, or Earth-V or Earth-Fred. No, they had to get rid of their best Deus Ex Machina! Now we have a mess of continuity!

Let's speculate! Come up with a scenario for this months issue of INFINITE CRISIS, and whoever wins gets EXALTED by everyone who's entered. A little mini competition if you will...

Okay, here's my guess... Batman (Bruce Wayne) becomes the golden age Batman. Dick Greyson takes the mantle of the bat. Tim becomes Nightwing. Some new kid takes the role of Robin. WW becomes a hardened criminal. Superman starts enforcing good behaviour to other superheroes. Three to four years later, DC realizes that Batman MUST be Bruce Wayne. Wonder Woman can't continually be in prison and Superman can't be portrayed as a flying fascist. At which point they release Crisis on Infinite Crisises. I've already got my copy reserved!

all in this issue jumping fishhooks that will be packed. I think in this issue GA superman is gonna ask batman for a better life and go all "ghost of christmas past" and show bats the life he coulda had. also the amazon fight and donna troy will get closer to the center of the universe.

Infinite Crisis #3 has hit!!! SPOILER WARNING! Do NOT read below because I spill all the beans. Just finished reading it... Wow! So Alex Luthor is the alternate Luthor! I thought it would be his father back from the dead... I mean, didn't Villains United take place before Alex, Supes & Superboy Prime broke out of their little crystal zone? I'm pretty sure the end of Villains United took place '6 months later' or some such nonsense. That's about the only place where I was confused about that. Otherwise a really great issue! I loved Batman asking E2 Supes if Dick Grayson was a better man on Earth 2. That was cool! But, alas Batman is cracking. No more Paradise Island? ?? OK... looks like I'll have to stick with DC2 for my Amazon fix! The Anti Monitor's body is attached to the Tower?!?!?!?!?!? Last we saw of him, he was nothing more than a fireball. I'm intrigued. Someone needs to beat the Hell out of Superboy Prime... and I bet Connor will be first in line to do it... if he get's off his lazy ass. Any other thoughts?

-is the real lex dead? cuz he got knocked the hell out. -forgive me but i never read the first crisis, what happened to dick that made this one a better man? -ooh ooh ooh we see the new beetle! i mean the guy that will be the new beetle. if you look at those character sheets they say (kinda) that they want a mexican wrestler feel to that mask and seeing is wehre it is and who picks it up... read between the lines -i think the superboy prime and alex l could have been sneekin out i mean it is luthors crystal zone to begin with. -kinda showing there CANNOT be more than one earth. too unstable. -does anyone think the note power girl was given was fake and only made to convince kara to join them because in the preview we saw earlier lois' journals were written in short hand. -does anyone else get the feeling E2 superman is gettin played

- No the real Lex teleported away at the last second.
- Nothing happened to the DG (except he died in the Crisis), what Bats was referring to was the fact that DG is a good man. If Earth 1 ceased to exist, so would DG, he would be replaced by the old DG from Earth 2. Bats was protecting his son. Kind of shows you how Bats measures a man. Now you need to go read the first Crisis!!! It's overwhelming, but very good.
- Yeah new Beetle! I still miss wise cracking Ted.
- It's possible, I suppose... I'm sure we'll find out more!
- Maybe, maybe not. I think that Lois could have just been her insightful journalist self. I think they just lost Kara to their cause though...
- Supes is DEFINITELY being played. Never trust a Luthor... they always stab you in their back, no matter what universe they hail from!

-just checkin -cant find it -I doubt we've seen the last of ted kord -you THINK they lost Kara to their cause? they only knocked the crap outta her and hooked her up to the "tower' -yeah luthor e3 is makin supes look like a 3 dollar h... nevermind furthermore -whats goin on in that wacky center of the universe? the damn thangarians ruin EVERYTHING! -still no GL? whasupwitdat? -Why is flash just chillin in the begining, like he didnt know all this was goin on till he turned on the news? -why does earth2 supes look like a guilt trip tourguide while the "real" (imo e1) supes does all the cool hero stuff? -who is curious to see jim lees next cover? since they rock harder oh and wonder woman= disgraceful coward

- GL's... who knows! Rayner & Kilowog are still out there fighting the Raan Thanagar war. Hal's, you know, chillin'. The Guardians are probably pretty confused as to why they're not at the center of the Universe anymore...
- Flash is probably going to die, so their making us see him happy at home. They did the same thing to Barry. Iris gave birth to the Tornado twins (in the 30th century) Barry kissed her goodbye & went to fight a battle he never returned home from. The writers are making their lives run parallel.
- E2 Supes probably doesn't see the point in helping a bunch of people he's dooming to entropy.
- Yes... Lee's covers have been great!
At least Wonder Woman stayed behind to try & fix the mess she created! This reminds me a lot of 'Our Worlds at War' when Atlantis disappeared.

-Hal chills better than anyone. ha, yeah i was wondering when that changed becuz i read they were in the center of the universe a few times before. -''runs" parallel. pretty clever scott. -uhhhh true dat. how lame was that whole ring scenario, kryptonite is kryptonite. -far superior than the perez counterparts i would say
cowardice never escapes my sight, and telling the amazons to fight rather than flee makes her no warrior. they should have taken her powers and crown and sword.... again

Pretty good issue. I do certainly feel as if DC is living up to the hype and delivering out exciting and well put together comics. Interesting developments for sure.
Scott, I would also maybe guess that time travel is involved for Alex and Superboy Prime. The events unfolding here have been in motion for some time. So either Luthor has been moving back and forth from dimensions or has moved backward in time.
I was pretty shocked to see the carcass of the Anti-Monitor pop back up. But hey, why is R2D2's head on the outside of the Anti-Matter tower there?
This the first Lee cover I bought actually. I believe both artists have been turning in great stuff, it's just that Perez's feel more like Crisis to me. But, I couldn't pass up that great image of Batman being confronted with the life of his Earth 2 counterpart.
Still not sure where this is going, but I just have a feeling there's going to be a whole new Earth popping up soon.

Why is Wonder Woman a coward though, she sent all her friends and sisters to a better place, and stayed behind to fight horde upon horde of OMAC... That's not cowardice... Not in my book of "Things that are not Cowardice"

Not in my book of "Things that are not Cowardice" if it is not in your things that are not cowardice book then she IS a coward, because that is a double negative, glad we could agree on this.
