Is anyone reading this title. It's a Vertigo title and I'm not usually one for anything that doesn't have a cape and cowl, but I picked up the first two trades for this... and it's awesome! If you get a chance, pick it up. Great stuff.

It's on my wish list. I heard it's simillar to Neil Gaimans Sandman. Is that true?

honestly couldn't tell you. I haven't read that yet. But stick with the first three books, and I promise you'll be hooked.

I've read both, and love them both! I don't think you can quite compare the two, but they both have powerful stories that continue to get better.
Sandman is more of Neil Gaiman's mixture of the DCU with deities and aspects of various myths and legends and his own made up characters. And the stories are tremendously great.
Fables is a mixture of fables obviously, but differ in that each storyarc/TPB is a different kind of story (first one is a suspense-mystery-whodunit, second one is a bit of action adventure I think I read).

Yes! totally agree. I haven't been able to read the last few things (i've been reading the series through the PB at the library) but i want to start buying them

a twenty dollar trade, I can usually get at Amazon for twelve or thirteen dollars. Some as low as ten. It's a great site.

thanks again. I never really thought much of all these online stuff but i found a good amount of graphic novels for around 10 bucks. I'm going to have a lot of time to fill my library now
