Thanks, it is healing fast. Stitches worked good. It aches a bit if I use it too much, but other than that the old pain is gone. Just proved I can draw again. heh heh.

Well, I've been working my ass off at work putting in 60 hour weeks, but finally found the time to draw something for my wife! It is her new D&D character. I don't think I am very good at costume design, but I whipped this up tonight. Just 2H pencil on Bristol... Will most likely color it, or she will nag me to death... It is a Mwangi Witch Doctor / Shaman type. Mwangi are kind of like African. In any case, she has a Tamarind monkey spirit guide which I also attempted to draw here as well. heh heh.

Looks great, Trev! You haven't lost your touch, that's or sure. And I think you don't give yourself enough credit regarding costume design.

One of these days I need to look at designing some DC2 costumes for practice.

I know this is gonna sound weird, but I love Cassie's hair. Very nice image, Trevor, nice attention to detail. "Crappy"? Shut your mouth!

Nothing crappy about that sketch in the slightest! In fact, if Cassie was a little bit skinnier and her breasts were twice as bigger, I'd swear it was drawn by Michael Turner . Very nice stuff, Trevor. Your linework looks so clean and crisp--- it translates well to DCU characters. Keep 'em coming!

Drawing from last year I don't think I ever posted on here... Was for a cover than never happened... I did pencils and inks, and Riz did the colors. I was just looking back at some drawings, and this one has a little nostalgia for me, as this was the picture that prompted Riz to teach me how to color. Thanks Riz!

I was just pissing around and practicing sketching while watching TV, and while I was drawing it, I decided to turn the sketch into Starfire... My goal with this sketch was to practice an odd head angle/pose...

A great job, Trevor. I don't see any loss of skill, that's for sure, your talent shines through. This looks great, I love the mask and the owl design, and love how the shadowing on Wenonah's torso adds to the overall owl pattern. Fringed forearms, great patterns and colors, just an awesome job all around. and for those wondering, keep an eye out for Owlwoman debuting soon in the one and only Birds of Prey!
Take care Don

heh heh. Was very fun to do the character design. believe it or not, this was the 10th drawing change I sent mockingbird and lissilambe to finalize the last changes. This was definitely a process. Making changes digitally is very quick. I could make all requested changes within 3-5 minutes fully colored.

Not a fan of Owlwoman personally but I love the way she turned out here visually. Of course I will also be inclined to check out what Don does with her since he has a way of making any character interesting.

I liked the idea of Owlwoman, and all the Global Guardians, when they were introduced so far back in Super Friends. I liked some of her other appearances, but felt that the JLI era really led to her (and most of the GG) getting screwed BIG time. I've been eager for a chance to get my hands on her and do some good work. Her place in the Birds of Prey title will not be as a team member, rest assured (the group's big enough LOL), and Dawn's going to be in for a rough patch with her foil/rival inspecting her fidelity to the First Nations. This is one of...two or three sub-plots in the series I've been aching to get to. Sam's been eager to see me finally get to it too, I'm sure. We have some great conflicts for the team and Wenonah Littlebird in our plans so hopefully, you'll all step by and check them out.
Take care Don

Just finished a marathon day of drawing 6 DC character concepts... I've never drawn 6 characters in one sitting. Ever. 2 maybe tops. And I can't post any for you to see... My drawing speed has increased significantly.
Earth A is already taking form. Tons of logos done by the amazing Riz, one full set of team concepts done by myself. Bill working on more...
It's looking great so far! So many more teams to do... Gah!

This one is for David. Just a crappy sketch I did laying on my couch while watching Dancing with the Stars with my wife. As you can see I was REEEEALLY into the show...
