Second story to read this week and another great one! I loved the character of Frost in this, and Martin's story is even more compelling than Ronnie's portion.
The battle scene's were vivid and as realistic as anything you could read in the comics.
Top that with an awesome cover, and you've got a five star read here.

This was a decent entry in the Firestorm series. I echo Brian when I say it was really Martin's story, and he came across quite well. I loved the peek into his mindset and his flaws as a person. It was a nice touch to have Frost be a former student-turned-affair. Well done. Ronnie was...whiny and inconsistent, but tha'ts okay. He's a college kid, that's what a lot of them can be like.  Killer Frost was truly dangerous and in top form here, and you made her a genuine threat despite the fact that she's way outclassed by Firestorm in my opinion. But without a good grip on what he can do yet, Ronnie hasn't figured out he should be able to shut KF down handily. WE'll see if he gets there. Good job, keep it up. Take care Don |
