Don and I had a great time batting this one around, and I'm pleased you're liking what's coming. And a lot. Is. Coming. When I was walking around NY with Masoud I just told him what's going to happen in the next year of Green Lantern and it was so fun. Made me realise how important this title is to me, to be able to craft this entire story, this epic, and for it to stick in my mind in such a way that I can keep someone's attention with it when talking about it!

Well you almost lost me with this issue... That brilliant Nathan Kilburn cover yanked me in, and the fact that I love what you're doing with this title kept me reading when I wanted to put a finger down my throat--- luckily, because the ending seems to lead into a kickass continuation--- but most of this issue was someone whining about their feelings and emotions. I mean, even Guy Gardner wanted to get emo with Carol Ferris?!? WTH, Charlie?!? Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit because I know how awesome this title has been, can and will be--- but this issue tried too hard to find its feminine side. I demand that the next issue rock my socks off or I will write an angry letter! I swear to god, if Guy Gardner asks any one else to share their feelings ever again it will be too soon...

I've been thinking about this Dave, and I'm going to have to disagree with you. Since I came back onto the book the whole point of Guy Gardner has been that he was stuck in this loop, this horrible, loathsome loop because Legion made him a bitter little man. It reinforced all the negative aspects of his personality. But he's from that now, and what I'm doing is giving every single character forward momentum-- or trying to, at least. I'm enjoying writing Hal and Chloe. Quite a lot. And I'm writing what feels natural for their relationship. They've been thrown together, but I'm writing-- or again, trying-- character development for them. To be honest, we were dealt an awkward card with Hal knocking up Chloe (the writer who did it suddenly not writing the title anymore), but I'm making the best of it, and that interaction has been some of the most fun I've had on site. Guy's trying. He's going to keep trying. He wants to be a better person because being a Green Lantern makes him a better person. So if that means he's concerned, then fine, and if you don't like it, I know where you're coming from. But he's trying to reach a place in himself where he isn't a bastard. Because that's old Guy, that's the Guy who shot Sinestro in the head. Arrogant, disdainful, trapped in Hal's shadow. Being free of Legion, with his ring, being on the same level as Hal in every way but personality... he's striving for more. And why not? Like I said, I can see where you're coming from, but this is a place to do something different, and I love that we're going in a completely different direction from Geoff Johns. I love it so hard. Don and I spend hours talking GL and the things we've come up with... well. I'm psyched, as ever, for this title. Anyway, next issue is complete, and the issue after that... well, I lost it. I lost the entirety of the issue. It vanished into the ether of the internet, so I'm all mopey, and it's going to take a hell of a lot of effort to finish this up now! But I have mad plans! MAD SICK PLANS! See you next issue.

Got done re-reading this issue and loved it. I'm so glad that you are doing something unique and moving away from what Geoff Johns is doing. I can only wish that the DC produced title could be as good. Any updates when we are going to see issue 28? Keep up the great work.

Hi, thanks for reading; I appreciate any and all feedback I can get. I'm afraid #28 isn't going to see the light of day any time soon. I started it twice, the second time because I lost the majority of work done the first time round. That kind of loss, compounded with the massive drop in enthusiasm for the website from most members (and myself) means that I've shelved it indefinitely. Feel free to submit your own Green Lantern ideas to the current editorial team on site if you want to take the reins of this title!
