I remember the Meta-Teens. I thought they'd make a good series. Even offered to write a one-shot.
So is anything gonna come of these? Is Earth-2 coming back?

I just released a story set in the Earth-Two universe a few weeks ago, so technically - it's back! I hope to continue to bring the relevance of this earth to the forefront next year as a place to tell stories unlike any other on the site.
If you are still interested in a Meta Teens story please message me. I love the concept, but my plate is already full projects-wise.
I'll continue to add entries here as well for the various eras of Earth-Two when I can.

Plus my own plate is pretty full with regards to contributions to this site. But seeing the old character designs again might jog some memories, hint hint. -UDC

Since there are so many metahuman children on Earth-Two after decades of super powered folks running around, there was to be a school/training academy. Sorta the DC equivalent of Hogwarts. It was based in the original Cadmus facility and the schoolmaster was to be Ray Palmer. The Meta Teens are a group of friends/club that keep getting caught up in adventures outside the parameters of their training.

That...sounds pretty interesting.
Are there any Meta Teens issues in an archive somewhere, or was it always just a concept?

That...sounds pretty interesting. Are there any Meta Teens issues in an archive somewhere, or was it always just a concept? Some ideas were bandied about but never got past this initial concept art. There were several titles done by other DCers that were in the Earth-Two modern age that might set the stage, but considering how long it's been I'd say going forward can be considered tabula rasa.

Y'know, I'm not sure I'd be terribly upset if we went forward without my work on Outsiders, Metal Men, and Suicide Squad. Yes, I put a lot of work I to them and I remember them fondly, but like most work that people come up with in high school, they're probably best left forgotten. Also, my brain's kinda going crazy over the possibility of writing a Meta-Teens one-shot. Rain check on that one. -UDC

There isn't any reason to invalidate the past stories. You guys came up with some great stuff. But with a leap in time I definitely have ideas how to freshen up the Earth-Two concept going forward and make a jumping on point for anyone to get involved.

Brandon, I think your Earth-Two art is some of your best stuff ever. Certainly it is among my favorite. In fact, your pic of Kal-El and Supergirl meeting the Earth-One JSAers may be my all-time favorite DC2 image (of course, I may be prejudiced here, as it appears in one of my issues, but still--- I'd hang that one on my wall!).
I agree that somebody needs to write an Earth-Two Meta-Teens book. What a neat-looking roster!
And I don't know how you did it, but your design of our Earth-Two Nightwing, makes the "updated" DCU Earth-Two Robin costume look cool. Amazing feat!
I clamor for more Earth-Two! In fact, I'm thinking about doing a special adventure of the (newly-founded) JSA of Earth-Two (from the end of my JSA Annual #1).

Thank you kindly, Dave.
A new adventure of the Earth-Two JSA?! That is great news. I really had fun collaborating on the pics for your Earth-Two event. I definitely would love to read more! And I agree. The interest in potential Meta-Teens stories is exciting!

I had thought that since Nicolas Cage had named his son Kal-El, it would be fitting if Superman names his son after Nicolas Cage:
Nick-El

Thanks. A variation of Hector Hall of course. And both characters are homages to Infinity Inc.
