I'm going to try and get things back on track here within the next few weeks. I'm sitting on #5-8, so there's no reason to delay!

New issue going live tomorrow! Excited about this one, begins my big push into serialised storytelling and Mark had some kind words when he edited it, so I hope you give it a shot!

Strong issue with a lot of balls in the air. You keep the story moving briskly but also focus on a few Leaguers at a time, helping me keep track of what's going on and demonstrating some fun pair-ups, like Aquaman and Batman. I love how they're dealing with the fraught politics of their, well, existence and how people and governments react to something like the Justice League. Great issues for volume 2! I confess I know little about the Daemonites or the Wildstorm Universe, so this is going to be interesting!

One of the things I rightly or wrongly pride myself on is my ability to juggle story balls in an ongoing narrative. I want to tell so many stories and I plan so far ahead that I begin to get impatient with my own process, so I do have a tendency to tease things well in advance of the actual story arc, but I'm making a concerted effort to resolve my stories a lot sooner now. I like to split the team up into manageable chunks, and I think that if I ever utilise the entirety o the current roster in the current issues, I'd lose track of someone very quickly. I always try to think how I can reduce down the group without losing interesting dynamics, but I keep adding folks instead. That said, as we head toward #75, one character isn't going to make it any further than that. It's a big worry. I confess I know little about the Daemonites or the Wildstorm Universe, so this is going to be interesting! I think that might work in your favour-- this isn't the Wildstorm universe, but rather the DC2's take on it. Blending together familiar story elements into our melting pot of continuity is one of my favourite things to do, and everything you need to understand the concepts will be given in the story text itself. Don't know who Stormwatch are? You'll know who they are to the DC2 very soon. Don't know the history between Majestic and the Daemonites? Well, have I got a story for you...
